Others here probably have more experience in this area than me, but I would say if you really like this guy I would def recommend having a discussion and making the “sex tutorials” a part of the play. I think there are def ways to have that convo without it coming off like you’re trying to offend him, especially if you also ask him what areas you can improve in for him as well.

 

They’re called “Sides” (as opposed to Tops and Bottoms). We discussed this on the site a few years ago.

Just don't talk about it at Sexy Time. Bring it up over lunch. Then if he's receptive to it suggest going to a sex store and getting some new lubes toys or something. The folks at the shop will give you advice too. This way you make it an event that you both can look forward to later.

We've said this before but gay men really suck at communicating with each other. Y'all will feel a lot better after you have this conversation even if it's awkward at the start.

 

Bring it to his attention. You don’t know what you don’t know. I think the conversation should be had in the nicest way possible and let him know that you’re not satisfied with his performance then you need for him to put his back into it a little bit more. I think my sex game is on point and if somebody told me that they wanted me to fuck them differently or with more passion or whatever I would be open to it.
