    I saw there was an old post about this and I just made a new one.

    What do you think makes someone an Alpha Male and some a beta?

    I was talking to a guy at my gym about it. We often joke and I had told him that I am soft but I'm not a wuss but he knows I am soft as I've joked about me being a BRAT.. (a BDSM term for someone who is submissive but likes to rebel to get "punishment" and told him I am pretty submissive for the most part. I'm just a soft masculine guy who could also be "metro" on some days, but just a man with soft ways.

    In any case, I was joking with him one day in a text and mentioned that I was looking at videos of Alpha Males of Tiktok and sighing & he responds, "How did you find my Tiktok videos".

    I told Plesse but that would be interesting, lol.

    In any case, I've been seeing videos of "Alpha male tutorial" vids on YouTube and I don't get how people actually follow that type of weird stuff. However, I am wondering is there an actual gay equivalent?

    Str8 Alpha males seem obnoxious and more like narcissistic assholes but are gay alphas portrayed like this? I have yet to see a YouTube video of a gay man telling other how to be Alpha or are Gay Alphas just more of fetish in the gay realm?

    How do Alphas pick their targets?

    Do Alpha Males even exist?

    There are Alpha Females too I'm sure... Just Alpha everything, lol So an Alpha, (is a highly confident person.)

    All I know is I stay 100 feet away from anyone romantic or otherwise who claims to be an "alpha." Whatever the hell that means. To me, that label is just an excuse to walk around with unaddressed mental health issues. And to justify being an asshole.

    I think the term Alpha is just an antiquated way of saying someone is an aggressive asshole.
