And Now, Men Explaining Why They Send Dick Pics

I feel ya. I was just listening to the podcast interview where Ock talked about the creepiness of GPS and apps. Seeing everything up front from a prospect leaves nothing to the imagination. Like eating dessert first and THEN the filet mignon.

I think the dicpic trend could end two ways. Since the dicpic is more ubiquitous, people will either get more depraved when the thrill of such pics reaches societal saturation and gone and look for more ways to be exhibitionistic ("it's the latest trend: gerbils-in-rectum selfies!!"); or because, as you state, you seen one you seen them all, people will go back the other way to wanting tasteful, erotic or sensual portraits. Instagram's faux polaroid pics was an example of this, trying to give a warm, aged appeal to digital pics (which never change or age).

As a side note, I think dicpics, apps, and universal porn have made me realize what an overrated hack Robert Mapplethorpe was. His main claim to fame was being a white gay men photographing big black dikks and getting uptight pricks like Jesse Helms hot and bothered (and maybe a little sticky and wet). With the Net and society standards having changed, you realize that, like Orson Welles, Mapplethorpe really wasn't all that talented, once the shock value of seeing black dicpics in an art museum is removed.

 

Another reason to avoid dating apps and dating in general. And if guys have to send a dick pic, have some balls(ha!) and send it attached to your body with your face included. Just because it is a dick does not mean it is your dick.

^^ And Mapplethorpe was more than just BBC. You have to consider any artist in the framework of their time and their place, not just by today's jaded standards. Not trying to be a dick myself, just sayin' and all.

Its one thing to say dik pics may not be your thing. But to think its gonna dwindle down or be less interesting, GET A CLUE.

Its not going anymore no more than porn is. Porn will NEVER get tired, dik pics, boob pics, pu$$y shots, etc will ALWAYS be around and relevant to more people than not. Even the self righttous prudes who try to make it seem like they are above porn and the sort but behind closed doors they are the biggest heathens around.

I definitely don't think see one seen them all. If you have some of the tumblers I have, those pics are DEFINITELY not see one seen them all. Some of them dik pics can be works of art IMO. They come in every size, girth, cut, uncut, color, man please. I think diks are a BEAUTIFUL thing.

Ass shots are great as well to me and come in different sizes and the sort. Dik pics just have more character to me.

It is creepy...somebody just sending or showing just their dick to you... especially if they just start off with that. I know for being a recovering slut It must seem prudish and strange, but that is just how I feel about it. lol

 

Oddly, there are so many that are quick to send XXX pics (without any vetting/verification of who they are interacting with) but it often takes an Act of Congress just to receive a clear face picture.

 

Getting a dicpic is strange when the dic looks like something from that Promethieus Alien Prequel.

All penis' don't look the same..some are pretty others are hideous.

Sometimes though, I think guys that flash peen pics are cocky...

Problem is when dudes be straight up lyin on the pipe. Like takin it way past misrepresenting inches. I had one dude send me my own dick pic that I had sent out to some folks on a few occasions a few years prior (which ended up being the reason why I stopped sending dick pics. Somebody used mine for a sex party ad on Craigslist once, but that's another story). This is why sending dick pics can be a game of smoke screens. I blame Tumblr.

Only because I think it is crass in a 'dating sense' and those apps are just meat market shit really. People are more than a dikk-and I love dikks trust me-that is what the internet and porn is for though lol!!! I look at dikks every. damn. day. but online and stuff.

Long live the d*** pic! I'll never complain about receiving one. Just make sure it's lotioned and not zoomed in on like a 60 year old woman facetiming for the first time. I think the body is beautiful and people should be less taboo about it. There are big ones, small ones, pretty ones, ugly ones, thick ones, thin ones, veiny ones, upside down ones, etc. Nothing wrong with looking at them.
