    I'm still more of a traditionalist (i.e. 2D), but I go to the Oscar nominated shorts festival when I came. This French entry from a few years ago is my favorite computer animated short. As an artist, details mean a lot.


    And did you know the French were doing animations for audiences before motion picture animated films appeared? (from 1892 and yes the color is the original)

    Also dig the UPA Studio post-WWII stuff. They went out of their way to be the anti-Disney equivalent to animation what Miles Davis's Birth of the Cool was to jazz

    Okay last ones! I was always partial to ink line art, which is why Revolver is my favorite album cover. R O Blechman did a lot of commercials in that style
