    Flip board is very useful. One of the first apps I used years ago.

    I am a fan of Evernote. It's so useful to have a thought or idea, drop it into Evernote and come back to it on your PC. Even dropping web links. The editor is pretty good too. I have edited posts in Evernote on my phone and copy-pasted them here on Cypher.

    I used to love Evernote as @ControlledXaos mentioned but after they changed a bunch of things around and moved all their main free stuff to premium, I had to look for alternatives. Bear[ Bear - Write beautifully on iPhone, iPad, and Mac ] is my current favorite new note taking toy app. Premium is like $20 a year and well worth it.

    Apart from Google apps(Search, Maps, Inbox, and Drive). I also use Wunderlist | To-do list, Reminders, Errands - App of the Year! and Habit Tracking App for the iPhone - Today and Simple Habit | Modern Mindfulness for Your Busy Life ( the only meditation app that actually works for me).

    Yeah I'm pretty simple so I don't even need the premium features for Evernote. I'm glad I'm not used to them. I flip between Google Keep and it. Evernote is used for general stuff but I like Keep for my workouts or quickly cloud transferring text t my pc and phone.

    This year I finally broke down and got Last Pass. It has just become too much to keep track of passwords and accounts, waiting for a reset email to arrive, or being locked out of an account for hours. Even though I had a pretty good mental algorithm for my passwords, it couldn't always deal with sites that didn't allow specific special characters. Now I have one complications password to remember and my brain thanks me.

    Also a cool app I love is Tunity. It lets you stream the audio of most live TV channels when you can't hear them. Now there's latency in some cases so it won't always synch up to the action on screen but a half second or so is better than nothing. Very useful when you are at the gym or a bar. Gyms may use fm transmitters but who is bringing a radio to the gym these days?
