Beard or No Beard?

I like a beard, goatee or some kind of facial hair. It looks more manly onot most men. Also most black men just look silly clean shaven. Some can pull it off but most can't. Also razor bumps is an issue for most black men so that's another reason not to be clean shaven.

 

Since I've got a stake in this one, I obviously hope the ballot goes to the bearded.

I think this pic is unfair. He is an attractive dude to me that looks not as attractive with a beard. For some reason in my mind it seems the opposite is usually true. God this is a hard on.

 

Too much extreme. The guy in question would look great with a light beard or facial hair. Beards don't have to be that long. There is a continuum instead of just little to none or Amish/Fundamentalism Muslim.

I like the first pic better. Second pic looks like he wants to lecture on a street corner or *worse* is thinking about getting at those 72 virgins.

 

I like a clean cut man.

 

Actually I don't like either-the 'God is my savior' tat is a turnoff. I bet he did radicalize and needs to be 'watched' and on the no fly list. Does Homeland Security know about this guy?

He definitely looks better without the beard. His problem is his beard is too long imo. If it was shorter, he'd look more polished. Not everyone can rock a long beard,despite having soft hair and being a lite brite.

 

I am generally clean shaven because I really can't grow facial hair that doesn't look gross and patchy. However, I look mad young and that has worked against me basically my whole life. As a CG Officer and Diplomat people often think I am the student intern.

I like facial hair that is trimmed and shaped up and not excessively long.

The problem w the example dude is that his beard starts way too low, and looks like a mane. And it almost looks permed...like his hair.

I use to use that stuff in high school. I stopped using it cause it irritated my skin. Andis clippers once and a while does the trick for me. But that's one of the reasons why I believe all black men should have some type of facial hair. They even let military men get spacial waivers for it lol.

Exactly! My uncles used to use that stank azz shyt when I was a kid. I use an Andis T outliner to shave (the same thing ur barber uses to line u up, before/if he uses the straight razor) and I never get razor bumps.

I prefer a guy with facial hair. It has to be trimmed.

 

I mean his beard is all that so there is no arguing here.

 

This is a difficult decision but I think clean cut would have to be it the final decision. Scruffy look doesn't work for everybody

What hair grows on my face-where a beard and mustache should be-is a joke, so i have to keep a smooth face. I cant even get a 5 o clock shadow. It looks like i need to go wash my face when my beard comes in. --side bar--I also have the same amount of underarm hair i had when i discovered my first couple strands when i was 12. All that said, hair turns me on, probably cuz i dont have any. Lol.
