I am really excited about Burna Boy. Its been a very long while, since I have been interested in any Nigerian artist music apart from Fela and Asa. I find that many of them lack creativity, growth and longevity. However, I feel with Burna Boy he really has talent, has worked on his craft and wants to grow and evolve with his music. Davido knows how to get the party LIT though don't front on it! Another new artist you should check out is named Nonso Bassey. You will like his stuff. I remember my Nigerian friends in college mentioning Asa. She is cool. Fela Kuti is classic though. Afrobeat King! I don't know all his songs but the ones I hear have been dope and it is clear that his influence is great when listening to music from artists like WizKid for example.
