    Alright Boards...Here's the scenario

    A major television network has consulted you to help them develop a Black-SGL series for their network. They are giving you one shot to develop a storyline to present to them.

    Explain what would you like to see in your "Reality Show"???

    This is tough because I really don't watch Reality Shows...However I did watch that gay basketball reality show Shirts & Skins and thought it was cool.

    So maybe a reality show about an athlete or something. I dunno, lol

    Great scenario,

    Nick's idea is good, I would like something to shake things up a bit.

    My first thought was a show about black Gaymers (gay gamers) and it would follow their progress though nerd culture things like Cosplay and Cons and Video Game industry events but then I realized how specific and polarizing that would be, so my concept would be to do a documentary style reality show that follows the lives of 3 to 5 gay black men around the country with various backgrounds.

    The show primary aim would be to showcase how different (and actually how similar and common-place as compared to straight men) gay black men are in the the community and how no one stereotype applies to an entire group of people. There would be dialogue and discussions from the men and their friends on how they view themselves, the LGBT community, the Black community, Sex, relationships, everything! It would just show regular men living their lives as they choose to. No hidden agendas, no misconceptions, just the truth.

    Each guy could represent a certain topic based on what category he presumably fits in. "Feminine men could address issues that they face, men that were/are heavily involved with the church could make up a "religion" sub topic, a Gay rapper could be on there showing his life and so on. And each season could introduce 5 new guys that cover more topics...

    That would be interesting to watch IMO.

    I would want to watch one about a visual artist or someone in the record industry.Not the usual thing of following a star around but someone less known and glamourous.I want to see their working day,shows,art exhibts,creative process etc

    Then again,I may just be desrcibing a documentary .:yeshrug: Perhaps I'll just stick with Maury.

    Something like a True Life meets DL Chronicles but realer than Love & Hip-Hop... this time following the lives of former DL men, their coming out stories and post-coming out. Yes it could be messy but HEY its reality TV.
