    I feel like if I keep watching this, I can come to appreciate Octopus more and more. And then eventually, I may overcome my fear of consciously eating them. I have at least gotten to the point where eating a food that contains it and then finding out last minute that it is an ingredient does not force me to just drop the whole thing and starve to death.

    These creatures are amazing, and thought to actually be the smartest invertebrates in the world (along with squids, cuttlefish). I had no idea they were {overall} such short lived animals. I think the longest lifespan of the Cephalopod Family is the Giant Pacific Octopus, and that thing only lives 5-6 years (if I'm not mistaken).
