    Happy Merry Feliz ChristmaHannaKwanzaFestivus!!

    I'm going to spend the next 2 ½ holiday weeks taking a 4 yr old all over NYC to a couple of museums, shows and the Zoo and feeling a little more of my brain slip away to Monster High & Disney cartoons but IO wouldn't want to spend it any other way.

    I'm going home to be with my mom and a few extended family members for Christmas. That's about it.

    A lot of people don't go home for Christmas because they may not have enough days off or already traveled for Thanksgiving. It's a lot to travel back to back months for some people.

    I didn't travel back to my fam because as @ControlledXaos mentioned I already did too much traveling this year and my budget is just not adding up...lol but I am enjoying Christmass/NYE with my new friends here!

    I spent it with my family back in New Orleans and we have the family tradition of trading off holiday duties, women do thanksgiving men do Christmas vice versa cooking, serving, cleaning etc, and this year it was the guys turn to take over and I've got to say we did it up! It was a good time.

    I actually ended up returning to Houston to see family. The aura is not the same since coming out but I do know they were happy to see me.
