How Are You REALLY Doing?

Finished Book I, working on Book II then III.

I'm hornier than normal...I think it's the moon.

Body Wise: I'm still kinda small but not skinny...Medium build. I have booty goals this year.

Financial wise I'm satisfied, though I would love to have my own beach house and writers retreat.

Family wise: I'm still distant.

Sex Wise: I try to remain celibate but that's causing problems. I have discovered what I'm into though.

I learned how to do more things this year. Animation and stuff.

Overall, Id say it's been a good year tho it's going by really fast.

 

So far I’ve had great successes but some huge struggles areas for sure.

Career is going great. I’m a 2nd year educator and I’m really achieving. I’m building great bonds with my students. They’re learning. I feel like I’m making an impact. And I’m getting noticed by the higher ups, which is always a good thing.

Personal life has been a big struggle however. I grew up in the stereotypical black Christian household so you know where I’m going... As an adult in college I had years to research, dig and question, in order to develop my own belief systems but I kinda half-assed the development of those beliefs and it’s had such a toll on me. The values and rhetoric ingrained in me through my upbringing have been kicking my ass lately. It’s gotten to the point where I’ve been questioning whether or not I should continue to live life as a gay man and be with current partner of almost two years. Needless to say it’s been causing us both hella stress. Luckliy he’s such a loving and patient guy who has been giving me the space to figure things out. But this religion thing is so mentally taxing though and it’s hard to shake what I grew up learning now that I’m fully dealing with it. I feel controlled by the fear of being eternally punished for living my life and it’s tuffff man...

2019 has been great so far, most of the time.
I moved to a new city to pursue my dreams of becoming a writer of film and television.
I knew that it would be a very weird adjustment For me, so one of the first things I did was to find a psychologist that I visit with weekly. I use him as part psychologist/part life coach. I recently moved into my own place, a spacious two bedroom apartment in my backyard is the woods. It’s a sanctuary of sorts. I love it.

Even though I have significant accomplishments under my belt for 2019, there are days where I am totally depressed. I sit on the couch all day and do nothing. Yesterday was one such day. Some days are a struggle. But I do remain positive and optimistic based on what I’ve been able to accomplish thus far. My focus now is creating a positive social circle and to have fun. Knowing I’ll be fine! Oh, God helps. Faith helps too.

Body Wise: I'm fluffy. I'm 6'2 240. Tryna lose 40 pounds. But I still look like I'm in shape thankfully to the untrained eye.

Financial wise I'm ok. I have healthy savings and a good credit score but my income isn't where I hoped it would be at my age.

Family wise: Im good. I love my immediate fam but distant from extended fam.

Sex Wise: I have a couple regular GoTo friends every now and then but I'm mostly solo on pornhub. Im not very good in relationships. I'm workin on it.

I'm 30 and mostly happy. I'm a naturally happy person anyway. I smile just looking forward to the next Game of Thrones episode.

2019 has been decent. I set some lofty goals. Working on Ph.D., doing some odd jobs in consulting. Considering being an early adopter in a presidential campaign. I am really missing my work in Diplomacy and learning that I do not love DC all that much. I am working on year 4 of my marriage, things are settling and that is good and secure. Although fuck Trump and these taxes, making a nigga think he needs to consider adoption! Healthwise, I have been working on being more mindful and doing meditations and have committed to walking at least 5 miles a day. It works, I lost 29 pounds and my butt/thigh ratio is turning out nice. All of my friends are getting pregnant and that is strange. My inner circle is slowly but surely giving up the childless professional life for family life and I think that is beautiful. I started reading fiction books to take my mind off the daily grind of life.

 

well, I am alive, healthy, gainfully employed and surrounded by great friends and family. So in the big picture, my life is going alright and has never been better!
digging deeper into things, I am not where I want to be dating and professional wise; working on the latter part so there is light at the end of the tunnel.

 

I am achieving finding a balance in life. Working on living a consistent healthy diet and weight control. I wish I had more friends outside of my professional circle, looking for more hobbies to take me into a new level of thinking.

 

I'm overwhelmed a bit with school and life circumstances. I can tell because I start acting out. I'm good though. I've been in rougher situations so this too shall pass.
