Its like Twitter but on The Boards

Ever have a random thought that was to minuscule to create a thread posting for The Boards but was still something you just wanted to share, get off your chest and maybe just dialog with other members? Well, you can share these thoughts by using a function within your Profile Post. Just think of it as kinda the Twitter on the Cypher Avenue Boards with a 140 character limit.

Over to the right hand side of the screen if you scroll down you will see...


You can start typing your message in the "Update your status..." box. Click "Post" when completed. Or you can click on the blue "New Profile Posts" tab, which will then take you to the main profile status page.


From here you can type in your message in addition to seeing all the recent messages by other members. Keep in mind you can comment on their messages, also edit, dap, reply and comment on your own messages as well.

This is just another feature that you can use to be more interactive with the fellow Squad Members.

 

This was posted because I noticed many people who've commented in thread postings but have never used this messaging / interactive feature. I usually see the same people and wanted to invite others to begin to use it if they choose.
Sigh...get out of your feelings.

 

Completely Disagree...just look at all the threads with videos and pictures. The message profile posts feature can't do this. Usually the messages on the profile posts are just one sentence random day-to-day thoughts.
