I haven't seen any posts on indie/folk music.

Truth be told, I barely listen to it- but whenever I do, I feel relaxed. Jose Gonzalez is probably my go-to, especially if I want a despondent, acoustic feel. Ingrid Michaelson is nice too, a bit soft if that's your thing. But Jose- man, he is incredibly talented and is one of the reasons why I maintain that music makes you smarter.

Yea or nay? Anyone really deep into acoustic, even if not indie/folk?

One of my favorite abands of all time are Toad the Wet Sprocket.Their album Fear is my favorite album (tied with Kenna's Make Sure They See My Face ).It even came out the day I was born.
Their music covers so much. It's highly emotional. The front man,Glen Phillips, likes to write about sadness, and his questions about life.Their music is the only I can listen t in any and every mood. With an album like Fear,I can listen and process my sadness, grief, euphoria, boredom, nostalgia, loneliness, and some things too ambiguous to articulate.
