Pixar’s Soul | Official Teaser Trailer

I got a question....not to be ungrateful...but it's almost 2020 and Pixar is just getting a black lead in one of their films?

Also, why do the black characters not remain black through the entire film? They tried it with Tiana (where she was a frog most of the movie..) So they have their first Pixar film and they turn their titular character into a non POC character which will probably take up a good portion of the film. He could have easily remained in his essence & kept his body.

Better yet, he could have remained a spiritual image of himself and the little blue soul could be his guide in the afterlife.

Granted I'm ranting without knowing all the but full details but still... I think is a terrible way to introduce you first black lead character if this is how they are doing it.

I would have also went with a child since I think Pixar movies should keep kinds in mind on the surface.
