    I enjoyed this series, as I like trying local foods (within reason) and plan to do my Boring Plain States tour this summer and fall. Seems like they're starting out in the Midwest and working their way out to the coasts. I haven't seen Illinois yet, but I guess there's no good way to fry broken dreams and despair with a crispy, batter coating.
