    So a crazy thing happened the other day while I was just chatting with this Conservative Muslim guy(I had no idea he was a conservative Muslim). I was so shocked by his exchange with me that I decided to do some personal knowledge gathering. So I came across this book and it is VERY interesting and informative for someone who is trying to understand Islam as an ideology and Muslims as a community. Also the writer talking about his experience as a Muslim growing up in Saudi. I highly recommend it;

    Atheist Muslim...I can't get pass the title.
    A muslim is someone who follows islam. So isn't he a Arabic Atheist or Middle Eastern Atheist?

    This is like saying "I'm a Atheist Christian."

    He could be Arab but not all Arabs are Muslim and not all Muslims are Arab. Indonesia is a majority Muslim country and we could consider them Southeast Asian

    An atheist doesn't need a qualifier.

    True. And I doubt that many people know that the largest majority muslim nation(indonesia) is Asian, not in the Middle East. I believe Bangladesh is either number two or three(either right in front of or just behind Pakistan and is another Asian nation).

    Well, unless it is something like a vegan atheist or a former atheist or pseudo atheist or questioning atheist or reformed atheist... lol.

    how about 'hardline atheist'?
