    This movie has gotten some great press! I cannot wait to see it. Nat Turner is one of my favorite heroes from the movement!

    Putting aside the rape allegations and homophobia of of the lead.
    I still want to see this & I hope it doesn't shy away from the violence.
    Only something akin to this will do.

    Yeah, I'm not too thrilled about Nate, but the work he's put into this project is commendable. Im looking forward to the movie as well. I am sure the ultra racist and conservatives aren't gonna like this at all and they will be the main ones calling this movie divisive, but these are conversations and topics that we haven't confronted head on that we should have long ago. I'm happy this movie is finally telling another story of American history that should be elevated and celebrated among other stories of Americans fighting for their freedom, whether domestically or abroad.
