So I was having an argument with my boy about Episode II and it had me wondering, do y'all think the Prequels would have been received better if they came out before the original trilogy?
I think the original trilogy wouldn't have happened if eps 1-3 came first.Think abt it...would you care about the Force if it had been established as bacteria first?
I'm not quite sure how people can say they enjoy the Star Wars prequels...Revenge of the Sith is the only watchable one and even it has many incomprehensible moments and plot threads. But to answer your question, I don't know that the remaining 5 movies would have even been made if The Phantom Menace was the first movie. That flick was MOSTLY successful because of the hype from the original trilogy. That movie makes Jupiter Ascending looking like Bladerunner.
