Regarding the main article, I have read about it before. They left one of the bodies hanging out the window for hours and the fireman made fun of it. A crowd gathered, largely to laugh and make fun of the 'F#gs' who burned to death. The newspapers made fun, as did some of the news stations. *also I think it was something of a mixed crowd back then too. Gays were so hated they had to stick together in clubs, no matter who they were.
