The Drake comparison wouldn’t be good. Like LastO said. VEEERRYYY off brand.
str8 up a white gay rapper must be first… i agree w/ lasto.
But yeah over all the convo was great. I liked all the different viewpoints. I think you guys could have a convo with Metrell and Damien Crawford about the R&B side of the “gay music industry.”
LastO doesn’t know it yet, but we’re in a committed long term relationship! He takes care of me.
3 things.
First …The Grammy Awards are powered by consumer trends from mainstream audiences . If they choose not to produce for that industry then why are they upset with the outcome ? Second… why did you make that comment about Macklemore being gay. That was really foul and unwarranted. I would have hung up when you threw that shade!!! Third…was this supposed prove a point, burn a bridge or be a pointless pity party?
This was a good conversation, I really enjoyed hearing everyone give their opinions. When you guys spoke about how a white guy would have to be the first openly gay rapper I definitely agree with that. I honestly can’t wait for a mainstream openly gay rapper to exist. I believe this would help break some of the stereotypes that everyone thinks apply to all gay/bisexual men.
