The Amazing Spiderman 2

I am not a huge Spiderman fan. The best movie for me in the franchise was the second installment with Dr. Octopus. The disgracefulness of Venom in the third installment and the subsequent reboot sealed the deal for me; this movie franchise sucks. Here comes the second installment in the reboot trilogy. This time around Spidey battles Electro, The Rhino, and The Green Goblin…again.

SABOTAGE

Unleash the testosterone. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sam Worthington, Mireille Enos and Terrence Howard; Sabotage is about a team of DEA operatives who bust and rob a drug cartel’s safe house. With the stolen money safely hidden, the squad thinks that their secret is safe until a mysterious assassin starts assassinating the team members one by one.

I, Frankenstein

Yes this is the title of this CGI special effects laced feature film. Frankenstein finds himself caught in the middle of a centuries old war between two immortal clans. The trailer reminds me of Clash of the Titans meets Underworld…wait…that’s because it from the same producers that brought us Underworld.

Non-Stop

Okay, Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore…so I would expect the acting to be on point. Non-Stop is about an air marshal on an international flight that has been hijacked. Someone will die every 20 minutes until millions of dollars have been wired to an account.

Need For Speed

Based off the popular video game, Need For Speed follows a newly released from prison, framed street car racer (look Ma, it’s Jesse from Breaking Bad) seeking revenge on the folks who put him there. Expect many supercar car chases. Sorry but this looks like a straight to DVD release.

Nymphomaniac

Supposedly all the “sex” is real in this movie; interesting. Starring Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsgård, Shia LaBeouf, Jamie Bell, Christian Slater and William Dafoe the two part film, is the wild and poetic story of a woman’s erotic journey from birth to the age of 50 as told by the main character, the self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, Joe (Charlotte Gainsbourg). On a cold winter’s evening the old, charming bachelor, Seligman (Stellan Skarsgård), finds Joe beaten up in an alleyway. He brings her home to his flat where he tends to her wounds while asking her about her life.
