Moonlight’s Oscar winner writer, Tarell Alvin McCraney, has written a new film premiering on Netfilx Friday, February 8. High Flying Bird stars Andre Holland (also from Moonlight) and is shot on entirely on iPhone.

 

High Flying Bird is directed by Steven Soderbergh who also shot her previous film Unsane entirely with an iPhone 7 Plus. Also note Soderbergh’s series The Knick which airs on Cinemax stars Andre Holland as well.
