The Marvel and Netfilx partnership has been pretty successful with their original series Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Both will have spin off series featuring The Punisher and Luke Cage. First up is Luke Cage, who gains super strength and unbreakable skin after a sabotaged experiment. Luke Cage (played by Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive who attempts to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But soon he is pulled out of the shadows to fight; forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.
All episodes of Luke Cage will be available on Netflix September 30.
In the next coming years Netflix not only will see a new season of Jessica Jones, but also the premiere of the Iron Fist series in addition to their team up show The Defenders (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist) . Check out their respective teaser trailers below.
I wasn't terribly excited for Daredevil or JJ ,and I ended up enjoying them thoroughly,but I've been ready fpor this since Jessica first ran into him at the bar.This series is going to kick so much ass.
One more month. Can't wait.
