So, is this your new thing? Posting up movies and not giving us a review or anything? Freefall got you shook yo?
I assume this is like the last one with the fight. We are Nick's lab rats. No review = lab rats after that last time.
*And as much as I want to discuss it, I will hold off with my opinion out of protest at @Nick Delmacy using us as lab rats. Him and @Ockydub taking bets and all on who is gonna say what.
This is how we look to Nick : View attachment 1973
It was cool definitely not up my alley simply because I don't like the concept of people cheating on their mate. Also, I'm not big on the interracial relationship concept. Forgive me but my preference is a man of African descent or as close to that as I could get them.
Well done. I liked the short film.
"I just want you to looovveee meeeeeeeeee!" Whatever.
OK. Kind of a video version of blue balls. Why did it have to stop there? It was going fine.
Now all we can do is speculate. This would be like the other one, if the other one stopped with the one gay guy imploring the other gay guy not to bash the thug's head in with the board. Other than that it was ok.
And I liked the interracial aspect. He was in a new town(maybe it was, oh…I don't know..mainly white?) and he was not getting any play at the bars and he wanted someone and took what responded. And of course the white guy had to be the cheating bad guy trying to drag the black guy into his act of sinful deceit the nasty white devil lol. And it was a hookup, not a relationship. The only relationship was with the white guy and whoever he cheats on(and we don't know if he is another white devil, or a black guy or an alien with antennae and a tail for that matter).

Can I just call attention to this one rat? Just what the fuk is he doing?

intoxicated maybe? Looks like he fell and can't get up.
I also like that. given it was an interracial hookup, that the skeezier, more dominant guy was the white devil. So often with black and white interracial anything the black guy is a stereotype(thug, BBC, dominant) but the black guy here was the nicer guy, seemed more sensitive and vulnerable, etc. than the white devil. Also they both seemed believably gay-not dripping with masculinity, but not flaming either.
And they both were not perfect-the white devil was not the greatest looking guy, and the black guy had a real guy's body-not gym perfect.
I think I look at these things differently when I critique them-I just go with the 'feel' it gives me and anything else that stands out to me. I can overlook stuff like quality of cinematography, some bad lines, etc. if the effect of the whole is good. I wanted to see what was going to happen and it cut off unexpectedly for me – It had my interest and I was let down that it cut off when it did. So I guess it was successful in getting me to be pissed that it cut off and left me hanging.
And yeah, I wanted the black guy to say no and send the cheating white devil on his way.
I would have liked a review as well sir. Having said that it would be fruitless in my current issue. I seem to be having a issue with the volume.
I like that the actors are closer to average joes than models. I wonder how many have felt like Chris. Seems like he could use a gay or gay-friendly friend or confidante more than a hookup.
I liked him and I agree. The other guy reminds me of guys who I have hooked up with only to find out afterwards about them having a boyfriend, or worse, a girlfriend, or worse than that- a wife and kids. Even when you have asked them if they are single to begin with. Which always made me think 'thanks for letting me unwittingly be a part of your cheating on someone' smh. He just reminds me of that type. Now Chris did not ask, and Nick did admit he was cheating on his boyfriend, but he was not about to get into that-he only did when he was questioned about the phone call. Maybe I am biased, but I still just get the 'feeling' that Nick is the snake with the apple and Chris is at a lonely and vulnerable point. I wish Chris had said"I don't want to do this' instead of 'Do you still want to do this'.
So we have heard from some of the labrats, when do we hear from @Nick Delmacy @Ockydub ? Are half a dozen labrats not enough yet?
So @Nick Delmacy @Ockydub are we going to get an 'official' review?
ou
I officially say your feedback on the short was officaly official of a review.
It was a decent short film. I like how it shows the innocents we all go through before learning about how the "gay life" works and how corrupt the white guy was as if what he was doing is just the norm. It would have been cool to see the black guy at the end decide not to settle but the reality is most guys would have probably went with it too.
