Why do they always have the same story line?
MEH…. lol
The screenshots immediately made me say…no.
Question is there a black gay short out there that is liked? Because I've noticed that not much love is real ever given. I could be wrong though but I would like to get everyone's opinions on this ?
I actually liked this one. Thanks for sharing! I ALMOST wish they would take this one to a series. But I know that if they do, it will become less realistic and more dramatized by ratchetness.

Everyone seemed to like Slow
That short film "The Bash" was universally liked as well.
Thanks for introducing to this film does he have anything else?
WATCH: Darius Clark Monroe's DIRT
Firstly thanks for the bash and the dirt there both great movies secondly why can't you guys highlight more movies like that. I know it's easier said then done but the guys that made these must have made more. I remember being younger and watching a whole bunch of shorts about gay black men and their struggles what happened?
We highlight the movies as we discover them, good or bad. Unfortunately the latter is what gets made and released more often. There just aren't that many Black LGBT short films out there as good as "The Bash," "Slow" and "Dirt."
One decent short film that I saw was a french one called "The Return" (Grading 2014’s Black Gay Films, Black Filmmakers & Black Audiences) Another one called "The Boy" was written by @hannibal and did well at film festivals (Horror Film Fundraiser: The Boy). I'm not sure if either of them have officially been released yet though.
I don't own the rights to The Boy, but I send out the link on request.
Just getting around to seeing this. I couldn't get past the fem dudes sweater and I turned it off. Sorry.
I'd like to check it out
