Cypher Avenue’s Best Gay Artist of 2013, Lasto, returns to video screens with a cameo in singer Wilson Knight’s song titled “Stable Ground.” The track also features cameos by openly gay music artists Solomon and FlyKingi.
While the song may not get Hip Hop heads Turnt Up, it actually sounds like any other easy listening pop song played on the radio and Pandora “Workout” stations. This is a good thing. We need more gay artists aiming for the mainstream instead of going for shock value or just gay audiences.
The simplistic video works for the song, conveying the light-party vibe intended by the music. Whether or not its your cup of tea, Videos/Songs like this (and those by Kaoz, Bry’Nt, Freaky Boiz and Fly Young Red) continue to step up the quality bar for openly gay artists.

Honestly I can easily hear this on a pop/rap radio station. Good for them.
The song is straight. It is in the vein of that Nicki Minaj pop rap thing.
