This Labor Day weekend there will be plenty of eating and drinking being done so you may want to hit the gym in between binges to burn some extra calories.One method I’ve been using for years to stay lean has been High Intensity Interval Training, which I’ll discuss in a later post.

Weight Loss Wisdom 101 says that in order to burn more more calories for an extended period of time you need to build muscle in addition to doing cardio.

Personal trainer Gustavus Wyche of G Muscle Fitness (based out of D.C.) has a method for doing both at the same time. As you can see from his own results, he may be on to something. He calls it the “Build and Burn Workout” and he demonstrates it here in this video:
