I have Always been a fan of Sade music, from listening to her play on the radio on Cool FM 96.9 'Midnight Grove' to seen her for the first time on 'Chanel O'( all Nigerian references). Her voice has, is and will forever be captivating. I always say her voice sounds like the hinges on the Gate of Heaven as they swing open. I remember when she released her last Album Solider of Love in 2010, it was Sold out like crazy, concerts and live shows tickets were gone before I could whisper The Sweetest Taboo...lol. Whenever I hit on a guy with some one liner or some cheesy line and they respond, I hear her voice in my head with the line ''No need to ask, he is a smooooth operator'' and I gives me a confidence boost lol. Here are some of my Favorites, feel free to share yours.

1984 Interview;Sade, the north London kid with the late-night voice: from the archive, 25 February 1984

    Side Note;
She looks and gets more beautiful as she ages, like fine wine.

According to DJ Chuck Chillout‘s Twitter post, the legendary Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest has passed away at the young age of 45. Chuck Chillout posted the Tweet just after 1 a.m. EST Wednesday morning [March 23].

The Five-Foot Assassin has been battling his health for years, consistently fighting Type-I diabetes, which he developed in 1990.

The news of his death was also confirmed by Statik Selektah, and many veteran Hip Hop artists, including Aesop Rock, Chuck D and El-P, who have taken to social media to express their condolences, as well.

A Tribe Called Quest, of course, is Hip Hop royalty and greatly respected by countless fans around the
    world.

Writer and actress Issa Rae is producing Fruit, a ten episode audio drama about an anonymous professional football player with a hidden, unexplored (as of the first episode) same-sex attraction recounting a story that could affect his reputation. You can listen to the first episode below. For now, X (the player's alias) seems to be written as bisexual rather than gay or DL, stating, "I'm not ashamed. I'm not triflin'. I'm not trying to be deceptive." He mentions attractions to both men and women, though he's only been with women and previously rationalized his interest in men as something other than attraction. Who knows where it goes from here?

Future episodes will be released weekly on $4.99 subscription-based podcast service Howl. An article says that free month promo code FRUIT can be used during the signup process so, if that's still active 2.5 months from now, you may be able to hear the whole series for free.

Here's How Issa Rae's 'Fruit' Is Set To Shift The Paradigm Of Podcasting

Lots of shallow talk on Nick Delmacy's end. That continues unfortunately (Octavious is a lot more realistic when discussing black sgl dating). Nick is overly "gay critical lol" when assessing himself as a suitor. Useless and unhealthy learned value is problematic and is very often shown in dating patterns and behaviors from many of our sgl males. You are a whole, I repeat whole, person brother. All of you will never be what you may feel is perfect. Highlight and actually use your great qualities and see who happens to genuinely appreciate. That's it.

What's preventing them from connecting with one another is Common Sense. The usage of common sense. If most of these sgl men have foolishly and culturally learned to simply focus on looks, a phat azz, a big d or money, the unhappy lonely cycle is self-created and will continue for life. Get you some real quality. Selecting a dude who has most of what you like or great potential without the typical silly useless things mentioned will get you a bf, fiance or perhaps a great husband and LONGEVITY.

Lastly, we recently lost an asset to the black sgl community from the CDC. And ppl wonder why being superficial and shallow gets us collectively NOWHERE. Love one another. Even the most educated or attractive black sgl men are far too often, like I already picked up on, ARE unhappy and seriously internally struggling. TRY LOVING YOU. LOVING HIM. LOVING THEM...OR JUST KEEP TO YOURSELF. Real love is seriously needed within this community of men instead of the typical substandard way(s) of interacting w/ your fellow brothas. Keep your assessments and just attempt to uplift, mix with good ppl regardless and just vibe for a change. Leave that typical sizing up men stuff in the trash and meet good ppl. They may be worth exploring more, being cool with or may even have a more suitable friend. REFRESH already. Good luck bro.

I get what Jussie is saying but if he's not making himself available to women, his point is moot. I know there are plenty of women who would have sex with him if given the chance. So that's one way in for them but if he's not actively seeking or putting himself out there to date and have a relationship with a woman they don't get that chance.

Let's not forget, physically, we can all have sex with females but emotionally we may not be there for them if we are gay or id with being gay more. Just like if the last humans on earth were gay men and women, gay people would still populate the planet and not let humanity die over them holding on to their sexual identity. Plus the act of sex between the gay men and gay women doesn't even have to occur in this situation for humans to procreate.

I don't think Jussie is bi. I don't think he's closed off the door for women but let's not forget, he's on the popular show, is an actor and probably still needs to consider life after Empire ends. Gay actors are usually not cast as straight men and gay characters are usually not the feature in major productions.

At age 74 I'm still working with :Ravel's Bolero. Love it during sex and the build up to it. Some of you "studs" should check it out and see if you can last through the whole instrumental. Starts off slow and builds to that crashing cresendo at the climax! When you work a body with this music it will not be forgotten.

The major religions most Africans adhere to today were all imported from beyond the continent. And religion is what drives a lot of the homophobia in Africa today. Homosexuality is, on the other hand, indigenous to the continent and by extension to all humanity.

Judge Delmacy: I mean, since you brought it up on cross examination, I'll allow it:

But for the record, Chris Brown is packing as well. Why else do you think Rihanna went back to him?

I just hate HATE HAAAAATEEEEE Black straight men condescending questions and side comments when they interview Black gays and lesbians. Especially on shit like The Breakfast Club. They are never attempting to understand or promote the artists, its about the sensationalism and spectacle. Gay animals in a zoo.

"Are you the Top or the Bottom"

"Do you use a strap on?"

"Did you get molested as a kid?"

Not sure what the future holds for this young man as far as music. He might even be in it his self for a quick cash grab and could care less about it being an actual career. Who the hell knows.

But it looks like he's having some serious fun, so I say go for it and have a blast while making that money. He's adorable. I hope he has smart people in his corner.

I love how Jidenna starts the comment with how European the Africans look/sound as they rant about European influence on African culture.

Same applies to many Hoteps and Homophobes here in America. Preaching anti-science "the Earth is flat" "we didn't go to the Moon" shit while using on devices made with science and technology that came out of the missions to go to the Moon.

Damn. I relate to the suffering in silence, praying the gay away, and feeling alone aspects for sure. To me, gayness is a construct developed and perpetuated by white gay males for their own financial, political, and social gain; I don't identify as gay. I identify as same gender loving (sgl). I wish that we'd get to the point where sgl people are not seen as abnormal, but simply understood as humans trying to just BE!

You remember Frank. The cousin all the fam keeps bragging about but who never has time for family reunions, weddings, or birthdays (although he did write that nice sympathy card)...but it's all good because we're proud of him and know how busy he is.

This year I finally got a physical copy of Love Deluxe.I don't know what took me so long to do that. It's for sure one of the best albums ever made. She's on level with Seal for me,as one of those artists who excels in multiple departments. Her vocals are impeccable of course, her music is flawless, all of which is evidence of her superb writing skills. Her music is like a world you can get lost in.
