    I think several of you have seen this film. The centers around a "nerd" named Malcom a senior applying to be accepted into one of the several prestigious universities in our country. He is also dealing with struggles of growing up in a rough neighborhood in Los Angeles. If you have not seen this BRILLIANT film-PLEASE check it out. I first heard of it on NETFLIX and watched it a few months ago. Love it. I want to post the dance sequence at the end of the movie. It's about 2:15 long but definitely worth watching-especially those that grew up in the 80' and 90's. We were referred to as Gen-X.

    The dance sequence is set to the music of "The Humpty Dance" by Digital Underground


    I did the dances at 0:21, 0:27-30, 0:35-36, 2:05. This movie drummed some memories of my summers at the Boys and Girls club. I also begin middle school and started a whole new world.:nerd:

    When I first saw that I was like what the fuck? It worked in the movie-out of the box which is the aim.

    I love the dance moves! That one at about 50 seconds in reminds me of MC Hammer skittering sideways in harem pants lol.

    Also reminded me of Young MC and Bust a Move.

    *embarrassed* I did a couple(2) of those moves in the clubs back in the day.

    I was just telling a buddy that I have been living in a shell. Their is no reason that I should have just been discovering this movie on Netflix. That pisses me off.

    I don't think I could physically do one of them now. lol. And now? Oh damn, oh hell NO! lol. Back then I would get a few drinks in me and then I would dance and just not give a damn about how I looked. lol. I also even did some of the 70's moves when they would play old disco songs at the clubs/bars back in the 80's. I have not danced at a club since maybe about 11years ago-and hell I was over 40 then and I danced stone cold sober and just did not give a damn.

    And no, I can't dance worth shit, but there is less pressure on us :franko1:

    If you look at that 'Bust a Move' video when the chick behind him is doing this sideways thing at 2:04 ...I did that in the club.. LMAO!

    Yeah man. I watched this not too long ago on Netflix and I closed out the movie with the BIGGEST cheese grin. it was a really, really, great movie.
