Is Bill Clinton The Devil?

Bill and Hillary Clinton are not the sole authors of all our woes. On balance, he did his best and actually did pretty well given that he lost the history Democratic congressional majority in 1994.

1. Do I think that bad things happened? Yes.
2. Were the bad things unintended? Most likely.
3. Were his policies policies specifically intended to hurt Black people? Doubtful- but hey, show me evidence.
4. And finally, does this mean that Bill Clinton is Beelzebub? Umm....I thought that was supposed to be Reagan. Or maybe you've got a worse name for that dude. Or maybe you don't.

One thing I do know- people have been tarring Obama as a republican for the longest time. Bernie said Obama should have faced a primary challenge because he was sooooo gawd-awful. So I'm gonna go ahead and start my countdown for when the cool kids on MSNBC start blaming Obama for all that ails the world today; it'll save me time.

This is one reason why I won't run for office. Much easier to buy a politician...oh I'm sorry, "give contributions to". There. Fixed.

 

Look people have to realize that all these people that run for office are Politicians and will pander to what ever group they think will support them (and buy them lol). Did Clinton have some bad policies yes and he (and his wife) should be held accountable. But why are we not criticizing the black leaders, politicians, preachers etc that supported, voted and pushed him to pass the polices. Hell Toni Morrison (who i greatly respect) and many black people called him the 1st black President until Obama came about. Now we are waking up and realize that after 20 years some of Clinton policies were destructive to black people. If the same backlash and criticism and pressure that we have now was taken back then would the policies of passed? I don't know. But we really have to think how will the polices and elected politicians of today effect our people 20 to 50 years from now. #stay woke

 

Did any of the policies he and his wife championed impact people of color in negative ways? YES, which is why he has already apologized for them. It boggles my mind how people turn a blind eye and play mental gymnastics to excuse bad behavior. He and his wife received funds from the private prison industry (the new plantation). The same industry that benefited from laws he helped pushed / passed through congress. At what point do folks stop supporting a candidate or party and support righteousness? Propaganda is real and the populace has been brain washed on so many levels that we can't even talk about racism, slavery, reparations, or police brutality without someone bringing up gang shootings in Chicago.

See the short term memory Black folks have. Really...this wasn't intended as a smear? Her campaign sent this out to scare white people and brain washed blacks into thinking Obama was a Muslim and wasn't American....but now yall gonna vote for her? Seriously, ask yourself what was the real intent or benefit in releasing this type of photo to the press? Why?

I never said any of those things. We should always expect such things coming out of a white man's mouth. Don't you? 'cause I know I do. I expect it. And if it doesn't come out, if they somehow manage to contain it, I'm surprised. Shocked in fact. Maybe that's my dim view of humanity. As Chris Rock said, white people are less crazy. Bill Clinton doesn't get a pass. Not from me. Never said that either. But if we're gonna pretend that Bill Clinton is Satan, we're missing the forest for the trees, for there are greater Satans.

 

How could I not? There's only one Democrat on the ticket and I have no love for red Sanders. Long live the revolution.

 

There are two candidates on the ticket. After everything you just said about Her and Her husband you still would vote for her over that guy who didn't say/do the things you just said/accused her and her husband of doing. For real, how does this make logical sense?

 

This is my logic- in September, shortly after Uncle Bernie accepts the nomination, and after the memory of topless women in short-shorts strumming guitars with flower crowns on their heads as part of the convention`s entertainment fades, America finds out that red Sanders wants to increase taxes on everyone. You know, to pay for all the $hit he wants. Since he`s promised to do it. Because he identifies as a socialist. Ted Cruz wins the presidency and tries to have us all put to death because we enjoy the company of men. We flee to Denmark. Ted Cruz nukes Denmark since it is part of his plan to bring about the end of the world. The end of the world commences.

Bernie has no idea what the hell hes doing. But hes having a great time doing it. I think Hillary will take the fight to the Republicans. Her mere presence will make them foam at the mouth. They won`t be able to control themselves, will overreach and she`ll coast to victory. I think she`ll win. That`s my logic. This is how the sausage is made.

Hillary is a hawk-that`s been obvious for eternity. And so is most of congress. But congress is the only entity that declares war, regardless of presidential privilege in moving before an official declaration. A Cruz nomination may help swing the House, but only if Hillary wins the nomination. A Sanders nomination leads to a Republican president and a Republican house. I never said things would be great with Hillary, I mostly meant that less people will die with her than if Sanders hands the WH back to the Bush crazies. There`s always a body count. Someone always gets rich off of war.

 

Again laughable....because Bush had nothing to do with beating the drums of war and lying which got us into Iraq because you know...he wasn't congress. What is also funny is that folks keep on talking about a Republican congress...as if these people are not up for re-election or dems don't get elected to congress. FYI...469 seats are up for re-election. Stop acting like Hillary or Bernie will be facing a Republican congress. No one knows.

Its just only 200,000 + innocent men/women/children that died in the Iraq war. Yeah the war destabilized that whole region...what's the big deal right? She just used some racist tactics when she was running against Obama because she is from the south. I mean, in 2008 she was just a politician trying to win an election so nothing should be off the table right? Somebody has to make money off of war and death, why not her? Elections should be about winning, not about progress and helping citizens or moving the country forward.

I'm not sure where you get all this from. Suggestion: when reading my words, read my words. Don't make assumptions about what I mean. I'm perfectly clear about what I mean. Which is why I simply don't have time for the veritable smorgasbord of horrifyingly outrageous rhetorical questions dotting this rather toxic response ("what's the big deal with only >200,000 innocent people dying in war"... *rolls eyes*).

I don't live in an ideal world. I live in a world where teens come to me with massive tumors in their hearts (4 weeks ago). Where 30 year-olds come to me with headaches and after I work them up, I realize that dude's kidneys are dead (yesterday). My role is to decrease suffering since there often isn't a cure. I have the same ethos with voting-do my best to decrease suffering, cuz I know there is no cure for all that ails the world. When Jesus Christ runs for office, please tell me, I'd be happy to vote for Him. He seems like a perfectly adequate candidate. But until that happens, I will be left electing a bad candidate to keep out the even worse candidate. A Bernie nomination exponentially increases the risk of a Republican president being inaugurated in 2017. The last time progressive-minded people demanded virtue and purity, they voted for Ralph Nader, and in short order dear, kind George W Bush presided over 9/11, botched Afghanistan, started a disastrous war in Iraq, gutted the tax system to hurt the middle class, twiddled his thumbs as thousands of black people drowned to death in New Orleans and helplessly watched as the economy fell off a cliff. Elections have consequences. I believe that Hillary is our best bet to make sure a repeat of 2000-2008 doesn't happen. All of these terrible things could still happen, but at least I know that I'd have done my best to try to prevent them. If you think this is a facile argument, there are still 16 hours left in the day for you to call me Hitler.
