    Activists held a rally on Monday in support of North Carolina’s new anti-gay law, and one of the key speakers was Bishop Patrick Wooden of the Upper Room Church of God in Christ in Raleigh, according to Right Wing Watch.

    During the rally at the state capitol, Wooden said transgender people shouldn’t be allowed to use the bathrooms that correspond to their identity, because he claimed that Caitlyn Jenner, a famous transgender woman, says she is attracted to women.

    But Wooden himself has made a plethora of comments that seem to indicate he is fixated on men and gay sex. In audio posted by RWW, Wood says, “If the medical community would just step forward, and just would share with the American people what happens to the male anus, the problems that homosexuals have with their rectums.”

    He then went on to say that many men need operations, and “how many of the men don’t even give the stitches time to heal.” This doesn’t seem to be backed up by the Mayo Clinic, which lists risks of sexually transmitted diseases as the true health risk facing gay men.

    Wooden also believes more mature LGBT men have to wear a diaper or a “quote-butt plug, end quote, just to be able to contain their bowels.

    I really wish black churches would put their focus on other issues. Instead of talking about prison institutional complex and helping ex offenders, building black wealth economics, supporting HBCU's and struggling college students you focus your energy on this. A lot of black preachers get paid checks by conservative organizations to support them.

    I never really liked either North or South when I visited or especially had to pass through those long ass, boring, fvcked up states to get to better places like the DC area and up.
