Read for Free - House of X / Powers of X. An Ingenious Reboot!

I feel like I need the comic book fans here to come to my aid because I NEED to talk to some-damn-body about these two muthafuckin comic books.



I must say since Spawn, I haven't been more invested in a comic series in close to 20 yrs than I am in House of X / Powers of X. I see why it sells out like the Popeye chicken sandwiches. Even though you're familiar with the characters, the writing and world building is heavy but very entertaining. The intrigue and creativity drives the point home of those who pushed back against Bill Maher's negative take about comics when Stan Lee died. The writer (Jonathan Hickman) has managed to create something new while keeping everything tied together that ever existed historically for the X-Men, basically an ingenious reboot!
