Question, you ever heard of "Resting Bit*ch Face"? Thats what you are giving in the profile pic.

It may be the way you take pics or whatever. But if thats the way you mostly walk around, with a "grimace" on your face, than that repels a lot of dudes and people in general at times. I know because I use to have that look often. Still do at times, but I consciously work on it.

I see normal NYC testosteroned commuter face which explains why he's a di@k repellent and a pu$$y attractor.

I don't know where it was taken but that's what I see when I look at it.

 

Actually the pic was taken at work. I've tried the smiley, happy-go-lucky look , the nonchalant look, as well as the look in the pic. Neither works, Bro. I see plenty of dudes in the gym and in general with meaner faces than mine that get hit on and cruised, etc. I have my moments where I get a lil tight about it but overall Ive just accepted that Im not "that dude" and few if any are gonna be checkin for me like that. Hey, we can't all be desirable, right?

You and I definitely swim in the same waters though, those that desire me, I don't notice and those that I desire are usually straight or don't see me at all.

You know Brandon I was thinking of something when I read this again, have you been to any house parties recently to observe this? I've always wondered too if that's where masc guys go to socialize, but I really haven't been to a house party recently where I saw this. The house parties that I went to a while back usually had a mixed crowd so so there may have been a few masculine guys, but overall not a lot. But this post brings up a good question though. Besides house parties where else do you think you guys who are masculine and comfortable with their sexuality go on a night out if they aren't going to gay places?

 

Sorry for butting in, but for where they go? Activities that masculine men might be into, and sports might be a start.

But my real reason for responding...is that his real name? I have noticed people calling eachother by what appears to be their first names- I know y'all know eachother but still. lol. Damn I am kind of old fashioned or private...like I think first names should be in the private section only lol.

I gotcha. I was thinking you could easily go to a house party and find the same thing that you find at gay bars/clubs that there is predominantly more feminine guys than masculine guys. I've had this experience a few times in the past when I went to some house parties. In general though finding other gay/bi masculine dudes that are also comfortable with their sexuality is a hard thing to come by. In my experience the masculine guys that I have met were closeted/DL which obviously made it difficult to establish any type of relationship.

 

Believe it or not, some of us may knock the apps, but I would say sometimes you may want to take a second look. Yes, its often a lot of lames on there, but the kind of guys you are speaking of are very often on there as well.

From my experience gay/bi masculine dudes are like you stated previously, not often at gay clubs or parties because of the element there. But many DO partake in the app thing and if interest is sparked will engage in conversation and possibly dates.

I have met two guys off apps, one very attractive dude in the political arena and the other very handsome bro in education. Both were naturally masculine and secure in who they were and both didn't like parties, either club or house.

Just saying, don't knock the Grindr, Jackd, Scruff, thing. Sometimes give it a try with an open mind. It couldn't hurt.

 

Yep I hear you man. I've thought of this also. And I have actually met some masculine dudes on there, but most of them turned out to be closet cases. But every now and then you can come across some that are comfortable with who they are. It's just with all of the BS that you have to put up with on the apps, it makes it hard to want to stay on there to meet different guys. I get fed up easily and end up deleting the app lol.

 

Yeah I can't deal with the apps either. Over them. Deleted off my phone since December 2015
