James Franco is starring in a movie about Virginia’s darkest gay porn secret

The early 2000s were a unique time for the adult industry and there were few stories that have lasted like that of Brent Corrigan and the murder that would haunt his career to this day.

It all started with Bryan Kocis, a PA-based photographer with a history of sexual abuse of minors. He quit his medical photography business to start a porn company, the now defunct Cobra Studios. The company became one of the earliest online success stories featuring some of the raunchiest acts and youngest looking guys on the web.

But few would rise to the top like Sean Paul Lockhart a.k.a.Brent Corrigan. Corrigan soon dominated the twink porn world and attracted the attention of two Virginia Beach escorts, Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes, who started a porn company of their own in the Commonwealth’s back yard.

Cuadra and Kerekes tried to woe Corrigan away from Kocis, Kocis refused and a short time later, the amateur gay porn king was brutally murdered in his home.

But the story doesn’t end there – there was still plenty of money to be made and justice to be served. Before long, Corrigan was playing a role in Cuadra and Kerekes downfall.

All of this really happened and now all of it has been turned into a movie, King Cobra, staring James Franco, Christian Slater, Molly Ringwald, Alicia Silverstone, Keegan Allen, & Garrett Clayton.
