    Dear Jamari Fox,

A few months ago, I was introduced to your blog and instantly became a fan. This is the first black gay blog that I have ever been exposed to and I’m here for it!

I am emailing you to seek your opinion on love. I once believed in love until all my recent encounters with men. I have dated within and out of my race (Black). Dating within my race, I end up with a men who don’t know what it is they want out of relationships, has problems with their masculinity, massive manipulators. Dating outside of my race, I end up with two good healthy relationships but we just did not connect on a cultural level. Personally, I believe it is hella important to have that cultural connection in a relationship.

I don’t think I ask for much in a relationship. I want someone who is honest, supportive, trustworthy, lovable, and someone who is ambitious on reaching success (whatever that looks like for them).

To make a long story short, it has been hit or miss even with the guys close to my age and older. I’m aware the problem could be myself, the people I attract, or both. I don’t want to just give up completely on love but…(shrug)

I battle with if it is possible to find black gay love? Find someone who doesn’t lie, manipulate, cheat, or intentionally try to hurt you? Maybe you will have some answers for me because I’m sure someone has posed this question before me. Can’t wait to hear your response.

    Sincerely,

    Leo-da-Hybrid

    MY ANSWER…
    thank you for the compliment!

    so let’s get into it.

A majority of black gay males don’t know what “love” is
    out,

    in,
    kinda out but in,
    whatever…

some black gay males are really difficult to love.
    why?

we can’t do something some of us never been taught to do
    [IMG]
    realistically,
most black gay males come from very toxic and abusive situations.
    parents,
    other relatives,
and bullies can do a number on us.
we end up attracting what we “know” into our adult relationships.
we have held onto that hurt and expunge it every chance we get.
i often ask myself in regards to the black gay community…

Do black gay males really love each other?
    not really.
    we have an idea,
but most of us don’t execute it well.
i’ve seen a lot of black gays love tf outta beyonce or nicki.
it’s only because they help some of them tap into that inner “diva”.
    that’s fine,
but it’d be nice if we showed that same support to each other tho.
    bad enough,
blacks are known as a very “crab in the barrel” culture.
being gay can be much worse in that barrel.
we gotta deal with the straights and other gays pulling us down,
while the others stand above laughing and knocking us down even further.
    it’s a lot.
we’ve mastered the art of dragging each other,
or learning how to suck the soul out of a dick,
but most of us lack the traits to truly recognize and give love.
we have it confused with fuckin’ like we love each other.
    if you’ve noticed,
being gay means to be very sexualized so that’s how we express “love”.
we express it so much that we end up rode hard and hung up wet too.
so before we start fonting about finding “black gay love”,
the rest of the community needs to get it together.
we would be so powerful if we did.
    shame.

    reader…
i believe you know what you want,
but the ones you attracted didn’t.
some of the gays in other races have different up bringings,
but they were taught in a bubble and be culturally ignorant.
they gotta pop that bubble and re-learn how their privilege effects “us”.

i hope your “next” will want to experience love with you.
they might need to be taught and open to it.
the walls have to be brought down until they see the light.
many of us are ignorant and need to be led to understanding.
    it’s okay.
we all have to start somewhere.
keep your head up and i hope you find what you’re looking for.

    love,
    jamari fox

Why being handsome is seen as a threat by bosses and bad for a man's career | Daily Mail Online
    • Good-looking men less likely to get roles showcasing individual talents
    • Instead tend to languish in less important positions in workplace teams
    • But researchers in UK and US found women don't face same challenges
    • Actor Rob Lowe said good looks had made it tough to further his career
if you thought it was just women who are judged on their looks at work, think again. It seems men have it far worse. Researchers say handsome men are less likely to get their dream job.

A study found that good-looking gents are seen as a threat by their male bosses and are less likely to be given roles that showcase their individual talents as a result.

    tumblr_oy0pczfzpG1w2x95io1_1280.jpg

Instead, they tend to languish in less important positions in workplace teams because they are still viewed as ‘competent’ even though they are unwanted competition for some.

However, the study found women don’t face the same challenges.

Researchers at University College London’s School of Management and the University of Maryland in the US carried out four experiments in offices.

They found that when men were hiring other men to work with them, their decision was affected by the attractiveness of the candidate and the type of job.

    Finding-Mr-Right.jpg

However, attractive women did not face the same problem because being pretty is not associated with competence among female stereotypes.

Lead researcher, assistant professor Sun Young Lee of Maryland University, said: ‘Managers are affected by stereotypes and make hiring decisions to serve their own self-interests so organisations may not get the most competent candidates.

‘With more companies involving employees in recruitment processes, this important point needs attention.

‘Awareness that hiring is affected by potential work relationships and stereotyping tendencies can help organisations improve their selection processes.’

    e9e8358b36f0f7863ace670639b41303.jpg

To get the best workers, irrespective of looks, bigger companies may find it more beneficial to have a neutral, outside recruitment company doing the hiring, she suggested.

“When there are these subtle hints of competition within colleagues, as is often the case, then attractive males are actually at a disadvantage, and they're actually discriminated against,” said organizational behavior researcher Marko Pitesa in an interview with NPR.

The findings only apply in certain roles — there’s a reason unemployment lines aren’t chock full of handsome devils. Pitesa says that the effect is observed in roles and fields where coworkers compete directly with one another. Pitesa uses the example of a car dealership: Cars sold by another salesman mean less cars sold by you, thereby impacting your bottom line. Subconsciously, men may avoid hiring handsome men because they perceive them to be too competent.

Otherwise, good looks can be an asset — in cooperative environments, people want to hire those who can help them the most, which means attractive males have the edge.

    -2.jpg

Pitesa noted that he observed the effect equally in both men and women when evaluating candidates. Interestingly, women suffer from the opposite bias. Attractive women are seen as less competent, so in a way they experience the same pitfalls as attractive men — just for different reasons.

The findings come after actor Rob Lowe complained about how he had found it tough to further his career because of his good looks.

He told the New York Times in April 2014: ‘There’s this unbelievable bias and prejudice against quote-unquote good-looking people , that they can’t be in pain or they can’t have rough lives or be deep or interesting.

‘They can't be any of the things that you long to play as an actor. I'm getting to play those parts now and loving it. When I was a teen idol, I was so goddamn pretty I wouldn't have taken myself seriously.’

Source: Lesbian film Rafiki shatters box office records in Kenya despite ban for 'promoting homosexuality'

Lesbian film Rafiki has shattered box office records in Kenya – after a government ban was lifted for one week only.

The lesbian love story from director Wanuri Kahiu debuted to international acclaim at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, but the film was banned in its home country after state censors took exception to the “homosexual” themes.

It was permitted to screen in the country for exactly one week in September, after a court ordered it should be permitted to meet the requirements for Oscars eligibility.

Under Academy Awards rules, submissions to the Best Foreign Language Film category “must be first released in the country submitting it… and be first publicly exhibited for at least seven consecutive days in a commercial motion picture theater.”

From the first night of the film’s release on September 23, cinemas in Nairobi were surprised by an influx of fans, who queued around the block to snap up tickets and get a chance to see Rafiki. Extra screenings were rapidly added and promoted by the film’s accounts on social media, as cinemas struggled to keep up with demand.

The film is now again banned in the country, following the end of the seven-day exemption – but in a final humiliation for state media censors, it was revealed that the film dominated the country’s box office in the period it was released.

Rafiki was the top performing film in Kenya for the week it was unbanned, edging out major Hollywood blockbusters The Nun and Night School.

The film smashed has through box office records in the country, becoming the second highest-grossing Kenyan film of all time – despite the one week of screenings being restricted to over-18s.

If it had been permitted to continue its run beyond the final legal screenings on September 29, Rafikii would almost certainly have been on track to become the highest-grossing Kenyan film of all time.

The filmmakers are pursuing further court action to have the ban lifted permanently.

In a release to PinkNews, director Wanuri Kahiu said: “Thank you so much to all of you who came out and watched the film. Thank you for celebrating Kenyan film with us! We are so grateful. As we return to court to argue for freedom of expression, we carry you with us.”

Rafiki producer Steven Markovitz said: “The success of the theatrical release proves that there is a strong commercial market for Rafiki in Kenya.

    Fans queue for tickets. (Rafiki)
“We intend to take this film to other African countries to continue to build the case that quality African films are commercially viable on our own continent. The film will be re-released in Kenya, when permanently unbanned.”

Lawyer Sofia Leteipan, who is representing Kahiu in the legal challenge, said: “The ongoing case provides an opportunity for the courts to give meaning, progressively interpret and to breathe life into the Constitutional guarantee of the right to freedom of expression, that includes artistic creativity.”

The film grossed more than $33,000 in its week of release, with more than 6,500 tickets sold.

The start of the film was greeted by raucous applause at screenings, while the crowds “laughed and booed” at the logo of the Kenya Film Classification Board—the body that suppressed its release.

The re-imposed ban makes it an offence to even own a copy of the film in the country.

    Homosexuality is illegal in Kenya.

So I ran into this dude during my after work commute,my type short about 5'7, nice smile and a mean back curve CAKES! lol. So in typical me fashion, I strike up a convo and give him my # to hangout. Few weeks later, we at this bar and I run into an old acquaintance from collage who is now a Doctor, Neurology. We start catching up, while the dude I was with was at the bar getting drinks...
Acquaintance ; Is that the guy you interested in?
    Me; Yeah (smiling)
Acquaintance; I see you haven't changed at all, still up to your same ways(laughs).
    Me: What does that mean?
Acquaintance; No offence, but he is Ghetto.
Me; *Pauses* That's a very rude and classist thing to say.
    Acquaintance;
C'mon, you know me. I am from a lower middle class home, I grew up around dudes like him but after a while you have to step it up. If you want something serious. I mean what does he do for a living?
Me; He is a security guard at the moment, also that has never mattered to me.
Acquaintance; Ok, if you say so (what a 'oh poor you' look on his face)

Dude comes over with the drinks smiling and even got one for the acquaintance (In my mind I go, If you only knew what he just said about you) and starts chatting with him. When the acquaintance leaves, homeboy says 'oh he seems really nice, I had a good conversation with him'. No, he was just being patronizing( said in my head).
Later, I find out that said acquaintance is with a TV host on a big network.
It got me thinking about Wealthy dude from before( Finance and Dating(with Black Gay Men) ). I mean we vibed, but I was nowhere near his class or finances, which I think played a role in the distancing.

A dudes class has never mattered to me, however as I am getting older and wouldn't mind something long term or of substance I don't know if it is something I should start considering.
Oh well, in the mean time let me go holla at this dude I saw at the cash register at Whole Foods. lol

Dude seems cool. I first saw him on Viceland's Desus & Mero.
When he said it was very difficult getting his book sold cos he kept getting 'You are Gay and black', translation 'Wyte ppl don't care and black ppl are too Homophobic'. smh
That could really discourage a person, glad he pushed through.

This was really nice. I like to listen and learn from couples to hopefully apply it someday. I also like how they complement each other so well and they do not fit into this rigid Masculine for Masculine that gay dudes crave so much to their determent, they are just like 'Hey whats up'.

I wonder what the percentage is for adults over 25? Another example of why dating is so crazy in this day and age.

American teenagers are starting to prefer communicating via text instead of meeting face-to-face, according to a study published Monday by the independent organization Common Sense Media.

Some 35 percent of kids aged 13 to 17 years old said they would rather send a text than meet up with people, which received 32 percent.

The last time the media and technology-focused nonprofit conducted such a survey in 2012, meeting face-to-face hit 49 percent, far ahead of texting’s 33 percent.

More than two-thirds of American teens choose remote communication — including texting, social media, video conversation and phone conversation — when they can, according to the study.

In 2012 less than half of them marked a similar preference.

Notably, in the six-year span between the two studies the proportion of 13 to 17-year-olds with their own smartphone increased from 41 to 89 percent.

As for social networks, 81 percent of respondents said online exchange is part of their lives, with 32 percent calling it “extremely” or “very” important.

The most-used platform for this age group is Snapchat (63 percent), followed by Instagram (61 percent) and Facebook (43 percent).

Some 54 percent of the teens who use social networks said it steals attention away from those in their physical presence.

Two-fifths of them said time spent on social media prevents them from spending more time with friends in person.

The study was conducted online with a sample of 1,141 young people ages 13 to 17, from March 22 to April 10.

This is mad random but does anyone have any thoughts on 35-year old biracial porn star Austin Wilde?

Ten years in porn, he mostly only does interracial scenes...but he's half-white himself, so isn't this fine?

    In an interview he said:
But all of his boyfriends have been white. Famously, it turned out that he was the porn star that NFL draft pick Michael Sam's white boyfriend Vito Cammisano had dated in the past. And he dated a fellow porn star Anthony Romero for some years...

    00000001.jpg

He started his own porn studio (Guys In Sweatpants) when he got fired from two White Porn Studios for disagreeing with their being lax on bareback sex and for wanting him to film orgy scenes with gay-for-pay guys.

So he has some integrity and became an entrepreneur employing others, many of them Men of Color on his own website (where he has a couple scenes of him having sex with Black men).

But then again, he had a problem with bareback sex in the past, but now that he produces porn as an owner he has bareback on his own site.

So, what are your thoughts?

Currently on Netflix, this is a documentary about 5 individuals who are on The Cruise, a gay men's cruise that happens every year.

While there was probably 0.5 percent of men of color on this ship, there was one man from India who was featured.

It's an interesting look at gay life from a non urban pov. 5 men at different points of life, cultures, countries, and levels of comfort sharing the experience of the cruise. It's worth 90 minutes of your time.

    Here's some of my takeaways....

    1. European decent gay men only have 3 dance moves.
    2. People with the flatest asses always want to show them off.
    3. A LOT of European decent gay men on this cruise all. Looked. The. Same. Not exactly obviously but most of these guys had the same or similar build. This is mentioned at one point in the movie.
    4. It's interesting that on this planet, Gays across this earth are very similar despite our upbringing and backgrounds, we have very similar experiences and mannerisms, albeit stereotypically.

Now, there's a point in this movie where there is a sexual act recorded on camera. I wasn't surprised by that. Just that Netflix showed the action. The. Action! It was only a few seconds. Maybe because this is a documentary it's OK. I don't know. Like I would have expected the angle where you know something is happening but can't see it but you actually SEE it.

I was listening to the latest Cypheravenue Podcast, which was 2 months ago, and one of the Host's said they first became body conscious when they started getting into the Gay dating scene.
For me I guess it started when I was small. I was so skinny, tall and had broad 'Clothe Hanger' like shoulders.
My siblings always made fun of me and my sis would say, I had a Tapeworm that's why I never added weight. My aunts would join in making fun of the folds I had on the waist of my jeans, cos my belt almost went round my waist twice. One of my aunts will say 'Oh, even look how he doesn't have Nyash'( Nyash= Ass in Nigerian broken English). I would just smile and try to hide behind my elder brother. I never payed it any mind after this though.
In high School, the guys were very big and I was still tall but more lanky. I would drink whole milk to try to add weight. I would mix whole milk and Malt, cos I heard it makes you add weight, and drink it 2-3 times a day. No change!
When I started to get into my sexuality, I thought it would never be an issue. Boy, was I stupid! I remember going to a Circuit Festival with a friend and we got Zero play, even when we walked up to guys. My friend after many failed attempts said 'lets go, this is not the place for ppl like us'. I can clearly remember his face when he said it. Few months after I met up with said friend, when I tell you homeboy was JACKED! I could not believe it. He had gotten a personal trainer and started using steroids, he went on to say its the lifestyle. Gay men are very superficial and he is going to play the game with them. Mind you homeboy was is accomplished, like top 3 in his professional field, but that does not matter in 'the lifestyle'.
I was still skinny and I had many events where I would want to hookup with a guy and he will go 'you are really skinny'. I would laugh it off but then make up an excuse that I had to leave.
Fast-forward now, I am as one guy put it when we were about to hookup 'Ahh, you are very fleshy'. Translation 'You is Fat' lmao.I did not make up an excuse like before and leave, but I told him I was only going to give him head with my clothes on. YAY,PROGRESS! LoL
A few months back I had just finished at the gym, was changing, and as I took off my shirt this gay dude says 'Phew, you are fat too, thank God I am not the only one' dunno if that was some kind of bonding moment for him, cos the gym was filled that day with lots of muscular gay guys. I just smirked, while turning my back to him.
Don't get me wrong, I have become more comfortable with my body.
I go to the gym now, trying to eat healthy, use the stairs as much as I can, walk to the farmers market instead of driving, drink lots of water no sodas, cut off all sugar mostly use honey now, eat lost of vegetables and fruits, limit myself to a cake or two a month, no fast food.
I do not think I will ever be completely comfortable in my body? No. Looks and body play a huge roll in the dating world and as I am actively dating, I am reminded of that very often.
I do think I would come to that point of acceptance, where I am like 'Fuck it, this is me', but until then...

In preparation for Baki the Glappler coming to Netflix this fall. I saw a youtube video of a dude giving a review of the new show...its already been released on Netflix Japan. He said that this new show is a third season (canon) and that he recommends to look at the previous two seasons first that came out in 2001. Below is a clip from the new season.

    :picard:cpnoway
But why though at :46 when he pops him in the face with the heel of his shoe. :rocks::ooh:

Needless to say, after looking at the first 5 episodes of the first season the animation holds up but its not as vivid as the new season. I find it funny my ass was in the gym working out hard as fuck after watching them. LOL

I have to say that I'm a lucky dude. I'm only 38 years old with a great career, financial stability, no debt and excellent credit. I'm the odd ball in my family as my parents are not the greatest with finances. My mom struggles with balancing finances and I just got my father to stop carrying wads of cash around. They both distrust banks with a passion. I've always been frugal though. Odd jobs in my teens and worked my senior year in high school and summers and holidays during college. Also, I was fortunate enough to get a full scholarship to college and was even more fortunate to have enough to get refunds back that paid for apartments and my vehicle. I'm still struck by the number of my friends who have crippling student and credit card debt. These same friends have less than stellar credit scores as well. These friends continue to make poor financial decisions to this day despite my friendly advice. Buying brand new cars and paying high payments due to bad credit, renting apartments that cost more than most people's mortgages, using their credit cards to pay for frivolous material things without paying it off in full. I can't pinpoint the exact time I became aware of how to manage my financial health and why I seem to be the only one in my family who is good at it.

I've been financially independent of my parents since the age of 18. No loans or handouts from them since i began college. But i would say that I didn't feel financially secure until i hit 29. That's when my corporate career took off and I was earning more than enough to live, invest and help out my family when i needed.
I'm interested to know how many people feel that they are at a point in life where their finances are in order and they feel secure. Do you have six months of savings in case of a job loss? Can you take out a loan in case of an emergency? How long do you think it will take you to get there if you aren't already?

Yes I know I need (and am currently receiving) psychological help because I laughed my ass off at this. Po-lady. Why they do sista Conway like this?

A Washington state utility company this week admitted that it sent a black customer the n-word when she requested a new temporary password to log into her account — but the company insists that it was a random fluke.

Local news station KIRO 7 reports that Erica Conway was shocked when she requested a temporary password and utility company Puget Sound Energy sent her back a password that read, “NiggaHHJ.”

    :picard:

“It was like an emotional roller coaster,” said Conway, who is a longtime volunteer for the Seattle chapter of the NAACP. “Shock, disbelief, disgusted, angry. It was just yeah, even now I’m just kind of like I cannot believe this. I just can’t believe it.”

Conway tells KIRO 7 that this was the first time any of her passwords had spelled out actual words, as the other passwords were randomly generated letters and numbers.

Despite this, Puget Sound Energy said the racist password was not deliberately created and sent to Conway.

“These passwords are generated automatically so they go straight from the system straight to the customers,” said PSE spokeswoman Janet Kim. “So, it’s not able to be accessed by an employee.”

Nonetheless, she apologized to Conway for the hurt caused by the accident.

“This was offensive, there was no question about that, we apologize to this customer, the community, for what has happened, and we are trying to do what we can to make it right,” she said.

Check out writer James Peoples’ clever new mystery comedy web series, “F’N YOUR LIFE UP!” produced and distributed by Dennis Dortch and his team over at Black & Sexy TV.

    Synopsis:

A man wakes up, alone in an apartment with no way out. His only means of communication is via a web chat device. He works with his closest friends to figure out how he got there and why there’s a dead body in the bath tub.

    Trailer:

    Premiere Episode:

For those of you that are fans of The Cypher Avenue Podcast, you may remember that James Peoples and I live-brainstormed the initial inspirational seeds of this show in a conversation about the state of LGBT web series back in 2014 (our pitch starts around the 49:00 mark).

To his credit, Peoples sifted out all of the bad ideas that we threw at the wall and fleshed the premise into a unique series with an ensemble of interesting characters and situations.

Directed by Fred Leach, the series stars Derrick King, Lauren Daggett, Israel Dixon and Kendall Johnson. While the quality of the writing, directing and acting are light years beyond most of what we see from many LGBT web series lately, there still seems to be a “focused grouped” feel in the pilot episode that we hope gets smoothed out as the series progresses.

“F’N YOUR LIFE UP!” is described (in ALL-CAPS by Black & Sexy TV) as a “THRILLER/HORROR” series, however nothing is thrilling or horrific in the premiere episode. It seems that it was determined that ‘comedy’ should be the main goal as the lead character Will, played by College Boyfriends’ Derrick King, hams it up in every scene. Even the simple acts of answering a cell phone or using a laptop are turned up to 10 by the actor.

Hopefully there’s room for subtlety as the series progresses…and hopefully the filmmakers allow for quiet moments in this mystery/horror/thriller show. In the pilot, when the soundtrack isn’t loudly banging hip hop beats during what should be tense & suspenseful moments, the actors are shown saying out loud what we are already seeing on screen.

In one early scene, Will sees his shoes on the ground:

He pauses and then says out loud, “My shoes.”

    Thanks bro…we hadn’t notice them.

This is a minor quibble, but we don’t need to hear Will (and others) narrating all of these visual moments and clues that are already being told through the character’s eyes (and the camera). Cinema 101: Show don’t Tell.

This brings me to the three attractive supporting characters, Kendall, Netty and Kev (the implausible openly gay BFF in the group of only straight people), who are established as Will’s best friends. They are primarily seen through Skype-like chat windows that Will manages to pull up on a laptop while stuck in the strange apartment.

This is not a bad way to include more characters into a story about a man stuck in a single location, however their interactions add little support to the story besides warning Will that he should find a way out.

Its almost as if during the pitch meeting the producers said, “You remember that hit movie GET OUT? What if, instead of that boringly subtle Oscar nominated performance by Daniel Kaluuya, we made someone more funny like Lil Rel the lead character and what if…follow me…what if he had, not one but, THREE friends hilariously telling him to ‘Get Out’ the entire episode instead of just a few scenes? Hilarious, right? Who needs all that horror and thriller stuff, comedy is King on the web! I love it, it’s greenlit! Production starts next week!”

I don’t have any inside information on the pitch or production of this series, so this is all my tounge-in-cheek speculation. However, while I definitely feel the series and concept is full of potential, I’m looking forward to seeing how they smooth out the kinks of finding the story, style and characters of this new show as it goes on.

Former President Barack Obama wants more women to get involved in politics ― for a good reason.

During a town hall in Johannesburg on Wednesday, a woman from Kenya asked Obama for his advice on how to get involved in politics in a country riddled with corruption. His answer was honest and to the point.

“Women in particular ... I want you to get more involved,” Obama told the crowd. “Because men have been getting on my nerves lately.

“I mean, every day I read the newspaper and I just think like, ‘Brothers, what’s wrong with you guys? What’s wrong with us?’” he continued. “I mean, we’re violent, we’re bullying. You know, just not handling our business. So I think empowering more women on the continent ― that right away is going to lead to some better policies.”

The former president spoke at an event hosted by The Obama Foundation. About 200 young professionals from the African Leadership Academy attended the 90-minute event.

After answering the Kenyan woman’s question, Obama added that there are many “different ways in which you can effectuate change.”

“The one thing you can’t do is pretend that politics doesn’t matter and say to yourself ‘that’s too corrupt, that’s too broken, I’m not going to get involved in it,’” Obama said. “Because at some point, if you are ambitious about what you are doing in your home country, you will confront politics.”

The laundry detergent Gain recently released an ad that has the web buzzing for its homoerotic undertones. In the new Gain jockstrap commercial, two young boys try to play a trick on their dad by dropping a jockstrap on his face while he naps. To their surprise, the jockstrap's scent makes him smile — because it’s been washed in Gain laundry detergent, of course, not because Dad is secretly a jock-sniffing sex pig (like us).

Naturally, the new Gain commercial has some prudish Twitter users clutching their pearls and talking about how “inappropriate” and “dirty” it is. But anyone who has ever been a boy knows that kids (like the ones in the commercial) regularly make butt, poop and fart jokes. So they’re not angels; they’re basically pre-pubescent frat boys.

The Martinez brothers go fishing for trouble in the new Gain jockstrap ad.
And look who their role model is: A hunky DILF who leaves his budgie-smugglers idly laying in plain sight like some sort of masculine lingerie. Any man who leaves his jockstraps right in his children’s view is basically flaunting his musky genitals and delectable buttcheeks around the house anyway. Is it any wonder his kids literally wanted to throw some of dad’s own man-stink back in his face? The poor boys have probably been dealing with dad’s post-game scents and dirty jocks for god knows how long.

When the boys lower dad’s stanky mankies into his sleeping face, the joke’s on them — dad likes the smell of his own junk … and he’s probably not the only one. We noticed Mom’s not around. Maybe there is no Mom — see what I’m getting at, boys?

It’s not the detergent he’s smelling, kids. Oh sure, Gain is a fine product, but it takes more than the smell of Oxi Boost or Febreeze to get him smiling in his dreams. In fact, dad doesn’t just smile, he spoons with the jockstrap and curls his athletic fingers around that man-sling like a huffing junkie grasping a paint rag. Dad is addicted to jockstrap smells, okay?

Daddy isn’t gonna give up the jockstrap that easily, son.
And it looks like Dad’s influence is rubbing off on his impressionable young sons as his eldest boy curiously rips the jockstrap away from Dad’s horny-yet-drowsy clutches to get a big whiff of Dad’s jock too. We imagine the younger brother will secretly take a sniff after dinner, wondering all the while if this is why the other kids in Little League all make fun of him.

Basically, the Gain jockstrap ad is going to turn everyone gay. And if you watched it, you’re already gay. Now go buy a jockstrap, you gay, jockstrap-sniffing sex pig, you.

“To Mr. Munno, my principal, there’s a whole lot of things I’ve wanted to say to you for a long time. ... I’m here as the UPrep 2018 valedictorian to tell you that you couldn’t break me. I’m still here and I’m still here strong,” Jaisaan said in his address. “And after all these years, all this anger I’ve had toward you and UPrep as a whole, I realized I had to let that go in order to better myself. And I forgive you for everything I held against you.”

Imagine earning your spot as valedictorian for your class, only to have it taken away from you, without the principal even looking at your speech?

That’s what happened to Jaisaan Lovett, who recently graduated from University Preparatory Charter School for Young Men, with a full ride to Clark Atlanta University to boot.

Not only is Jaisaan smart and hardworking, he is the first black valedictorian from his school and had prepared a speech meant to address things he thought were important such as thanks to his parents, siblings, teachers, classmates ... and especially his principal.

However, that speech would never be heard at graduation. The school refused to let him speak. Lovett said that was due to personal issues between himself and Joseph Munno, the principal, WCNC reports.

However, with the help of Rochester, N.Y., Mayor Lovely Warren, who Jaisaan happened to be interning with, his speech was not only heard by the people in the school but the whole city, and now the whole nation.

Warren invited Jaisaan to City Hall to deliver the speech, which was then uploaded to the city’s official YouTube channel.

Here’s something you don’t see every day: a black-owned brewery.

Out of the 66 breweries in Georgia, only one is owned by black people: Down Home Brewing Company. Chris Reeves and William Allen Moore, the two men behind the brewery, started canning beer in March 2018 at BlueTarp, Georgia’s smallest production brewery, east of downtown Decatur.

The two spoke with WXIA-TV and expressed that starting this business was a challenge and that they haven’t quit their day jobs quite yet.

“It was fun seeing people’s reactions to it, saying, ‘Oh OK, this is cool.’ Then you see the backstory behind it and we tell our story with our families and how this comes from a place of family,” Moore, a Morehouse College of Medicine alum, said.

Apparently, the only investors in the company are members of their families.

Down Home’s graphic icon is of Herschel Thompson, Reeves’ late grandfather, a church deacon and a Walton County sharecropper. Reeves explained that his grandfather wasn’t a drinker, but he was “a good God-fearing man. Loved God. And I learned a lot through him.”

The two hope to eventually open a stand-alone shop and to leave their day jobs.

every june, i take a trip to miami beach -- sometimes with a summer body, sometimes with just a body in summer -- for the american black film festival. about 10 years ago, i started traveling to film festivals (toronto, blackstar, los angeles, sundance, new voices in black cinema) across north america. before the black renaissance in film and television when you'd rarely find us on the big screen, these annual events (some black-focused, some not) helped me to watch fresh stories about us and see upcoming black actors in quality roles.

while i'm not the biggest blockbuster moviegoer and don't frequent the theater often outside of attending these events -- i just saw black panther last week -- i am a huge indie film lover and supporter of black filmmaking. my favorite event at festivals is generally the short film showcase, but i am looking forward to this year's talk with black panther director, ryan cooler. abff also has industry events such as master classes, show premieres, and industry parties, so it's an all around great time.

consider checking it out if you're ever looking for a summer event and a reason to visit miami in addition to the cuties.

So I was talking to a member about erotic art or doing something like a comic of some sort or whatever..I don't know really. Sounds interesting but would take fawking forever to get done. Anyways I had did two quick renders today of a butt naked man...the same man..front and back two different render settings.
    De'Antae.png

I kinda forgot to remove his peen (& put a texture color on it) if you squint you can make out the tip of it against that white background poking out (I was testing out the genital slider and forgot to turn it off). It took only like 54 minutes to render to that. Usually it takes 2 hours using IRAY(which is photorealistic somewhat) but when I started using the appropriate lighting for scenes, renders were much faster, maybe 1 hour tops. Well that image was kinda big, so that adds time as well.

The second one I removed the peen, lol. No full frontal today. Haha..but it was done using a different render and took maybe 15 minutes. Of course having no hair or clothes on is an easy render of for both.
    De'Antae (3Delight).png

I had been thinking of doing a comic mixed with Animated Gifs for some sections... of course as I've mentioned, doing a comic sort of thing would be time consuming but interesting. I could have sworn I had some animations somewhere though?????!?!

Any other artist out there ever get into or think about doing erotic art, 2D or whatever? I don't want mine "porny" really (though I have things like a liquid pack for...)
    :evilkermit:

I want it erotic though. Like today, I was thinking of a bed setting with missionary or something smooth, nudity but no visible pole punchin' or anything.

As for now, Im thinking about a black on black thing of course...but in the back of my mind I'm wondering if I'm just doing a Kama sutra book..lol

Rapper Taylor Bennett likes guys and girls and he just recorded a whole album about it

Chance The Rapper’s younger brother, Taylor Bennett, made headlines last year when he came out as bisexual. Now, in a new interview with Highsnobiety, he’s opening up about that experience.

The 22-year-old first came out on Twitter back in January 2017.

“Growing up I’ve always felt indifferent about my sexuality & being attracted 2 one sex & today I would like to openly come out to my fans,” he wrote. “I do recognize myself as a bisexual male & do & have always openly supported the gay community & will keep doing so in 2017. #ThankYou”

Reflecting on that experience, Bennett says, “I always say that [coming out] was easier for me, because I’m a rapper and I have fans.”

He continues, “I’m doing it for that kid that sits in the classroom, the one that has nobody to talk to and has no friends–that’s who it’s hard for. That’s why I did it, so all those kids can have someone to look into.”

“When I was a teenager, I felt like there was no place for me, and that’s how a lot of people just feel, period,” Bennett says. “So I just wanted to create a place people could feel comfortable.”

Bennett is currently finishing up work on his new album Be Yourself, which he says it about just that: being oneself.

“I’m writing honestly about my sexuality for the first time,” he says. “Sure, this music is about me as a person. But it’s also so, so much bigger than just me.”

Bennett says he hopes by sharing his story through music he can help others both in the LGBTQ community and the African-American community.

“We’re just now addressing these problems,” he says of society’s growing willingness to engage in dialogue. “It’s not just in the hip-hop community, it’s in the African-American community, and it’s worldwide.”

“I do think a lot of it is coming from the little fires that I’m starting to burn, and from artists like Migos and how they dress, and what they do. That is what’s inspiring the world to be themselves, because that’s what I’m going to do: I’m just going to be myself.”

....who just so happens to be an ex-Obama staffer...

A black former Obama administration staffer had the police called on him while moving into his new apartment in New York City.

Darren Martin moved back to his hometown after spending several years working in the White House and on Capitol Hill, but his homecoming was complicated after a neighbor reported him Friday as a possible burglar, reported WPIX-TV.

“Somebody called the cops on me in my own building,” Martin said in a video streamed live on his Instagram account.

Officers came to the Upper West Side building to investigate a possible burglary in progress, and the 911 caller warned Martin was carrying a “large tool” that appeared to be a weapon.

“I didn’t really think anyone was going to call the cops on me because, I mean – I was moving into the building,” Martin said.

Police determined that Martin was not engaged in any criminal activity, and the former White House staffer said the incident wasn’t exactly surprising to him.

“As a black man when you’re in an all-white environment, you’re cognizant of that,” he said. “I have to say I found it kind of symbolic — like, welcome to the neighborhood.”

Martin reminded his neighbors that police calls can end in tragedy for black people.

“The broader message to everyone is get to know folks before you make these assumptions,” he said. “When you make that call there’s no turning back, and it could’ve ended very differently.”

Kendrick Lamar has won the Pulitzer Prize for his album “DAMN.,” becoming the first rapper to be honored with the prestigious award. The album was described by the Pulitzer committee as “a virtuosic song collection unified by its vernacular authenticity and rhythmic dynamism that offers affecting vignettes capturing the complexity of modern African-American life.”

Separately, The New York Times and The New Yorker won a public service Pulitzer for their coverage of the sexual misconduct allegations against disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein. The Washington Post was also honored for its coverage of sexual misconduct allegations against Roy Moore, the Alabama Senate candidate.
