Bruno Mars is starting 2018 off live with his ‘Finesse’ remix featuring hip hop darling Cardi B.
Paying homage to the ground breaking 90’s sketch comedy show In Living Color; the music video mirrors the show’s intro and set to a T. Bruno and dancers also sport Cross Color- esque attire completing the effect. ‘Finesse’ is a smooth throw back to the new jack swing of that era.
Check out the video and its 90s vibe below.

I think I've just realized that I actually am a Cardi B fan – wow.
She's not the best rapper but honestly that's not why she exists in the industry. She's not supposed to hit you with straight bars.
She represents a "rags-to-riches, self-confident, mind your business and live your best life" ass person…What is there really to hate about her?
I feel the same way. I love her story and her music is fun & confident. I wish her the best. She even made Bruno’s corny ass likable to me.

I am loving Cardi B's success! She is truly an inspiration and seeing her transition in life is moving.
The song and visuals are dope! S/O to them
I have mixed feelings about the video and Cardi B. I respect her hustle, but i do appreciate bars i will remember for years to come. It’s funny how Bruno Mars has gained such success through his usage of back musical melodies. At least he knows what’s considered to be good music as black music continues to progress forward stylistically, melodically, and artistically ( is this a word???).
The tune sounds a little catchy. Actually, I'll just take the instrumental since it puts me in a mood. That dude in the back with the green cap look like a young Will Smith (y'all know I love "Big Willie".
Idk y'all. I may get some slack for this but Cardi is…she's something… They'll do anything to have her flying across the screen. The cheap shot ass slap in jeans was so unnecessary but I guess. She's pretty cuteish though. Her facial expressions remind me of that other girl, Nikki Minaj.
I thought the video was a little generic but kinda cuteish (can I keep saying that?) It was a nice lil call back…on a "Throwback Thursday" but they should have went with a more "Soul Train" vibe. More people, more competition, more relaxed style. This actually kinda reminds me of something from the Mickey Mouse club.
I see Bruno doing a little New Orleans Beenie Weenie at the beginning eh.
I wish them both success.
I usually have to listen to a song a few times to get in the feel of it. I've gotten used to it. I think I would like Cardi if she stuck in this style of music instead of the rap stuff [personal preference].
This just makes me want to go back to the Salt n Peppa days, and I really love TLC so much..Boyz 2 Men..
If I was a millennial, I'd drink some of that 90s juice too that's dripping all over this vid.
Ill add this one to something to listen at my work when I want to ignore some of my coworkers.
The 90s era in popular culture was the best hands down but especially for hip-hop and R&B.
I watched on youtube a couple times yesterday and love it. Really digging the 90's vibe of the song and video. I hope there will be a 90's revival in music soon, especially in hip hop and R&B.
