Last year, when I first heard this song “Fuck Your Stuff”, the first single from P.O.S.’s latest album “We Don’t Even Live Here”, I wished that it could somehow be the Cypher Avenue theme song. When Minnesota rapper Stefon Alexander opens up the track and spits, “My whole crew’s on some shit, scuffing up your Nikes, spitting on your whip” the counter-culture anarchist in me stood up and say “YES!!!! MY WHOLE Cypher Avenue CREW DON’T FUCK WITH YOU!”So while we brave souls here in the Cypher Avenue may not be property vandals (as displayed in the video), we are definitely idea agitators and rebels, especially when it comes to stereotypes and the gay establishment.
