Starring Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams, Bradley Whitford, Caleb Landry Jones and Catherine Keener; this suspense thriller is written and directed by Jordan Peele (yes that Jordan Peele from Key and Peele). Props to Peele’s creativity because this looks completely bat-shit crazy and the racial undertones of the trailer have me intrigued.
I would have loved to have seen this released around Halloween but we will have to wait until February 2017. Bruh!?
In Universal Pictures’ Get Out, a speculative thriller from Blumhouse (producers of The Visit, Insidious series and The Gift) and the mind of Jordan Peele, when a young African-American man visits his white girlfriend’s family estate, he becomes ensnared in a more sinister real reason for the invitation.
Now that Chris (Daniel Kaluuya, Sicario) and his girlfriend, Rose (Allison Williams, Girls), have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy (Catherine Keener, Captain Phillips) and Dean (Bradley Whitford, The Cabin in the Woods).
At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he could have never imagined.
Equal parts gripping thriller and provocative commentary, Get Out is written and directed by Peele (Key and Peele) and produced by Blumhouse’s Jason Blum, as well as Sean McKittrick (Donnie Darko, The Box), Peele and Edward H. Hamm Jr. (The Box, Bad Words). The film also stars Caleb Landry Jones (X-Men series), Milton “Lil Rel” Howery (The Carmichael Show), Betty Gabriel (The Purge: Election Year), Marcus Henderson (Pete’s Dragon) and Keith Stanfield (Straight Outta Compton).

It definitely looks weird as sh*t. Wanna see it just to see what the hell are they and whats going on. You definitely don't get a clear example of what it is during the trailer. Is it racial? is it supernatural? (with him sinking in the bed) And what the hell is with the skeleton deer coming alive (@ 2:24).
Totally weird
I'm not a movie person at all. I usually fall asleep. But this shyt here?
Yup! I'm in there
So yeah, gonna see and support this.
Well of course it demonizes white people so y'all will eat this shyt up.
:mjlol::troll:
Even more reason to never date outside of my race! Stay away Becky and Ethan! Lol
Yeahhhhh I definitely need to see this. One of my other sites talked about this film, but I just watched the trailer and I went from laughing my ass off to sitting back like, “wtf.”
Gotta watch out for these small towns all full of white people. So you wants to come visit me in my 97.5 percent non-hispanic white rural town where you almost never see any black people(at least for long)?
:foxxxy:
This movie looks good, definitely have not seen a horror movie like this. I hope it’s as good as the trailer makes it to be.
I saw the trailer and was immediately drawn in. The down side of this is that the movie will not be released until next year. My sincere hope is that we are not bombarded with trailers to the point that trailers turn into spoilers… Matter of fact, I want to see no more trailers, I want to go and see this movie with a fresh uncluttered mind set.
