Every year I can’t wait for the images to come out of the Detroit Auto Show. From the latest model cars, to the luxury posh rides, and the futuristic concepts. The Detroit Auto never fails to deliver on the goods.
One of the highlights this year is the re-release of the Dodge Dart. The Dart was a hit back in the 60’s and 70’s. With the re-release Dodge hopes to capture some new sales with a under $20k price point starting at $16,000. Dodge is stating it should get 40 mpg highway.
This is a competitive price against leaders like the Hyundai Elantra, Chevy Cruze and Ford Focus; but with the Hyundai Elantra now given the honors of the 2012 Car of the Year, Dodge has some ground to make up.
Below are some of the goodies from this years show along with a video of African American President and CEO of Dodge’s SRT brand Ralph Gilles. Enjoy!

Chrysler’s Street and Racing Technology (SRT) group has put together a short video highlight the brand’s four newest performance machines. SRT President Ralph Gilles talks about what makes each of the cars unique over footage of the Chrysler 300 SRT8, Dodge Charger SRT8, Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, and Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 sliding in graceful slow motion.
