And let’s say you’re 25 or 30 yo. In addition to the cost, folk need to remember the lab work costs too as you’ll need to be tested every through months. I was given my prescription by my VA doctor but I have civilian insurance that covers my visits. The labs were about $100. Not sure what, or when, the copay bill will be but an MD friend of mine (who also is on prep) said to expect about a $120 copay average depending on insurance plan.
Since the Tenofovir patent is expired, and the Emtricitabine patent expires in 2021, maybe there will eventually be a generic equivalent within a few years?

I think the main point everyone is missing here is that most of these pornstars aren't looking to get rich from porn. My belief is that they are using porn to obtain the necessary notoriety to parlay into club appearances and escorting. I'm sure a "famous" escort can charge substantially more from the average joe blow down the block. Also, well known strippers and pornstars get top dollar for club appearances.
