It’s about that time again. A new year means new opportunities to better ourselves. The reason that writing New Year’s Resolutions is a time-honored tradition is that attaching goals to text helps make them more tangible, more permanent.
Resolutions, in many ways, can keep us accountable.
• In what ways do you want to better yourself?
• What do you want to change about yourself?
• What do you need to work on?
• What are your short term goals?

Just more growth–personal, mental, physical, and financial growth.
In what ways do you want to better yourself?
More streams of income, more asking guys out, more of a chest.
What do you want to change about yourself?
I want to overcome my fear of public speaking.
What do you need to work on?
My body and what I eat/put into it.
What are your short term goals?
My own website by the end of the month;
Three short books by May;
One decent conversation with every guy I like on campus before I graduate in May.
Right back at you, Nick! Do you have any wants or wishes for this year?
What are some of your New Year’s Resolutions for 2017?
I gained ALL 40 pounds that I lost earlier in 2015 back over the past 4 or 5 months due to school stress and LIFE STRESS so I want to drop all that weight off again.
I want to read at least one new (non-fiction, [auto]biographical, and/or self-help) book per month this year. I want to empower myself mentally.
I also want to work on my thought patterns. Different events in life can cause one to be a bit more negative than positive at times.
Not giving excuses for not doing something that needs to be done.
Understanding what I can control and what I cannot control.
I want to learn how to be comfortable with being uncomfortable in life in general.
I want learn how to be comfortable with my flaws and insecurities.
I want to go on more dates and DANG IT I'M KISSING A GUY THAT I AM ATTRACTED TO this year!
