E3 Batman

E3 2015 has gone’tah pasture but not before making my eyes have multiple eyegasms. This year’s expo continued to showcase impressive game trailers and in-game demonstrations. Saying these clips are awesome is an understatement. The graphics on most of these titles are unreal and it feels like we’re finally getting into the groove of seeing the real power behind the XBOX One and PS4.

BEST 25 GAMES OF E3 2015

25.No Man’s Sky (Cross Platform) Flight Simulation, First Person Shooter.
This game takes open expansiveness to the next level. In No Man’s Sky you can explore galaxies. Yep…galaxies with unexplored solar systems and planets. I have to admit from the trailer this looks lame but from all those who have played it, they give it rave reviews. This will have to be a wait and see one for me. Playing will be believing.

24.Shadow Warrior 2 (Cross Platforms) First Person Shooter.
More Wang for everybody. Shadow Warrior 2 follows ninja mercenary Lo Wang as he slashes and shoots through demonic mutant hordes. This go-round, he brought some pals to back him up.

23.Destiny: The Taken King (Cross Platforms) First Person Shooter.
Many players are turned off by Destiny, Bungie and Activision because they feel they have nickel and dimed them with the DLC (download content). If I pay fucking $60 for a game…give me a complete game without add-ons I have to pay for every couple of months. Still Destiny: The Taken King trailer looks sweet.

22.Hitman (Cross Platforms) Third Person Stealth.
The cloned Agent 47 is back in action with this sixth installment.

21.Hollowpoint (PS4, PC) Run & Gun Shooter
Hollowpoint is a four-player cooperative online game that blends tactical and action-packed combat. The side view style seems to flow into more open combat areas for bigger action. This might very well be a surprise hit.

20.Need For Speed (Cross Platforms) Racing.
This is a reboot of the franchise featuring some nice live action cinematic. I also like the camera angles on the back tires as the vehicle rounds corners.

19.Street Fighter 5 (Cross Platforms) Fighting.
Ole-reliable is back in numero V. Who doesn’t know Street Fighter? This time the lighting and shading on the characters is more realistic even though still drawn in the classic anime style. Let the blistered thumbs begin.

18.Deus Rx Mankind Divided (Cross Platforms) Stealth, RPG, FPS
Augmented humans lost control of the bodies and minds and killed millions and the game finds itself in the aftermath. Can augment Adam Jensen change humanities mind?

17.Tekken 7(Cross Platforms) Fighting.
I know most are familiar and are lovers of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat; however Tekken has always been my favorite fighting game. With the ability to move through the fighting arena, side step and move into the foreground or background, when Tekken released it opened up new possibilities in fighting games and I kicked ass.

16.Horizon: Zero Dawn (PS4) Action Role Playing.
Let’s hunt robot dinosaur animal thingies. Eons after the world ends, cybernetic animal roam. Props to having a female ginger protagonist to hunt these animals down. The female, Aloy uses multiple ways to hunt down these beasts. My question is…what do the humans eat of the animals are metal?

15.Tom Clancy’s The Division (Cross Platforms) First Person Shooter.
Another year, another Tom Clancy title. World’s in chaos after bad shit happening…blah blah blah add water and stir. Survivors must kill the bad guys to stay alive. Thank you now let’s shoot. Oh, by the way, the graphics and gameplay look nice.

14.Forza 6 (XBOX One) Racing.
Always a crowd pleaser Forza 6 continues the series with absolutely beautiful high power sports and muscle cars. As usual with Forza, you get to race through tracks around the world in realistic environments and conditions. Forza sometimes feels less of a driving game and more of a simulation. The trailer featuring John Legend is sweet. Forza 6 Gampley 60fps

13.Gears Of War 4 (XBOX One) First Person Shooter.
I thought this franchise was dead after the trilogy ended. To be honest, after viewing the game play trailer, I kinda felt, been-there-done-that. BUT that been-there-done-that was really fun and intense. So on second thought, I’m sure I will have part for in rotation.
