2K Games brings us Evolve where you get to fight giant monsters. Yay! Designed by developers who worked on Valve’s Left 4 Dead series, this first-person shooter features four hunters that work together to capture super-powered monsters. Players participate in 4 vs. 1 combat, as a foursome of hunters including Trappers and Medics battle a player controlling a faster, stronger Goliath.
Electronic Arts is giving us Star Wars: Battlefront. The classic tactical shooter returns with Battlefield studio DICE at the helm. EA has remain tight-lipped on the action game, first revealed at last year’s E3 with a trailer featuring combat on the ice planet Hoth and a cameo by the famous AT-AT Walker. BLAH BLAH BLAH, can we get game play footage please???
Forza Horizon 2 will be visually stunning as always. This is the old reliable of driving/racing games. With Forza you can’t go wrong.
Crackdown is coming to the Xbox One. Nice to see a character of color in a starring role. More please.
This Titan Fall E3 2014 trailer is just fukin awesome! This game is so cool. I can only imagine what Respawn may have in store for a sequel…Fall of 2015 perhaps?
A very interesting addition…Cuphead. This is something different in that its a hand drawn video game reminiscent of cartoons from the 1930’s. Love the creativity…Nice!
Which were your favorite trailers and what games are you looking forward to in 2014 and 2015?
I’ve never been much of a gamer. My last gaming system was a PS1, courtesy of my uncle, and I didn’t even want that. I was content w/ playing Mortal Kombat 3 and Streets of Rage on my Sega Genesis. 🙂 However, seeing how far video games have come w/ the graphics I may have to buy a XBOX One and try a couple of these. I know I’m definitely getting the Mortal Kombat X.
I can’t wait for Mortal Kombat X, if nothing else for the pure nostalgia of it all. Plus I kind of like that Mortal Kombat has kept things relatively basic in terms of gameplay, its one of those games just about anyone can play (perfect for parties and all).
Maaaannnnnn, that Mortal Kombat trailer has me twitching to spend some money on a PS4 or Xbox just so I can play it. I used to spend hours learning all of Scorpion’s fatalities on earlier versions.
The fIrst Alien movie is still one of the greatest sci-fi-horror movies to this day, 35 years later!

Looking forward to Destiny Killer Instinct Season 2. Really didn’t like how Orchid turned out in this version so hopefully she gets some buffs. Her slide should really connect to juggle. TJ Combo has been hitting the squat rack it seems and hopefully Kim Wu comes next season as well.
What I want though is the next Mass Effect. Dragon Age looks SICK so I know Bioware is going to make the galaxy look amazing for ME. Oh and Tekken V Street Figher! I really want to see Namco’s take on Capcom’s characters.
