When I first learned how to be a masculine gay man, I completely missed the part where they program us to become fans of Divas and Musicals. So the mere idea someone making me watch a movie or theater performance full of people singing and dancing on a stage makes me wanna say, “Pardon my back!”
Thanks to Jon and Al Kaplan, however, I’m now stoked to see full length musical adaptations of some of my favorite action films from the 1980’s! Through their YouTube channel, these guys meticulously (and hilariously) sing and compose elaborate “numbers” tailor made for Broadway.

I would easily give my left nut to see Alien: the Musical. I can just picture a hatchling leaping out of some poor guy’s chest to do a musical monologue, while Sigourney Weaver breaks out into a dance solo.
