The story here is pretty simple which isn’t what makes this short good. What makes it good is its masterful way of using darkness and shadow to immerse you into this predictable tale.
The animation is really good and has a bit of a noir vibe to it, in addition to a stop motion 3D appearance. I appreciate the attention to details in the character design. Also I like how the darkness provides a blanket of isolation for the protagonist as he moves through the small bubble of light that’s provided by his motorcycle.
Nice that the creators took three genres and give them a little twist by merging them together.

This was a really good watch. However, I must be honest. I have no idea what I just watched. I liked the graphics but missed the premise of the piece. Someone bring me into the light. I walked away thinking you cant outrun death. #LawdHelpMe
