Having to entertain family from out of town while still working every day, I know I’ve been neglectful in my activity on the site and with releasing podcasts. Guess what…my yellow ass will still be super busy for the next couple of days. In the meantime, I’ve decided to post a podcast from the cutting room floor rejection pile that was never to see the light of day.
Even though my opinion about EJ Johnson is reflective in the podcast, I still felt the podcast was missing something. Regardless, I do feel the overall topic is still worth discussing and as always, I would like to hear the reaction and feedback from listeners.

I guess he is living his truth, even if a lot of people are not good with it.
I guess you know how it is. He is rich, black, famous, gay and all the way out of any closet. Did I say very rich? He has parents that seem to love and support him no matter how outrageous he may seem to others.That is enough to drive some black queens, maybe some white ones too, insane with jealousy, hate, and vitriol. From what I hear, they (some black queens), do all that hating on the regular with anyone and everyone not in their clique. E J is on a whole different level from them and he can flaunt it with impunity, and that galls them to the extreme.
Overweight and effeminate is a magnet for scorn not admiration. You can say he did nothing wrong. But gay people like everyone else do not need evidence of wrongdoing. Just see you as undesirable and everything you do will be disgusting to them.
Oh by the way, EJ has lost a lot of the weight. It is said he had the bariatric by pass surgery.

I like EJ. He’s really just being himself. I’ve watched episodes of both his reality shows & I get genuine and decent human being from him. I think people have a problem with anything that falls outside of the norm or expected because it forces them to revaluate & that’s uncomfortable for so many folks.
CO sign to @TreDaDon and @sekou comments. He's living his life, being positive, and running his own business. He's not dropping bombs on little kids in Asia, poisoning water in Flint, Michigan, or selling out the US Constitution to Russia.
Good for him. I saw the response that someone made on Twitter to an asshole hotep "Afrocentric" nigga that tried to call out EJ and his parents. I agreed with the sentiment:
"Magic Johnson got a son with his own fashion line worth over $200 million. What did your parents get? A broke ass homophobic piece of trash."
Not to be an asshole….but EJ is normal imo as it pertains to gay / queer culture. I see EJ's everyday at work.

LOL. I definitely don't see it everyday. I hate the part of myself that feels uncomfortable when I see that. It's like I'm judging & distancing myself & making him "other" because I don't identify. But from a distance & at my best, I do support him & fully support his right to do him.
Not everyone who’s black and gay,will be mascular bodied and angry looking.let’s celebrate diversity,as they say,variety is the spice of life.
