While most kids were scared of ghosts or the boggy man; I was terrified of werewolves. For some reason werewolves seem more frightful to me than ghosts, vampires or demons. Maybe it’s because werewolves when not in their true form could hide among us like regular people? I’m sure everyone’s childhood scare scales are a bit different LOL.
One of my favorite video blogs Mojo.com has tons of awesome vids giving you their top 10s on any given genre in movies and cinema. When is comes to an actual werewolf horror movie, I would have to say my all time favorite is The Howling (them old school converse are nice).
So if you’re curious as to what the Top 10 Werewolf movies of all time are, check out the video below. Spoiler; I was a bit surprised the 2010 remake of The Wolfman didn’t make the list but over all I was pleased with their break down.

Ghosts scared me the most…because there’s a possibility they may be real. I always knew vamps, wolves and shit were fake…but ghosts reality is debatable.
Oh Ocky werewolves were my favorite too. Thr monster squad werewolf is my favorite.
“The Howling” used to scare the piss outta me as a kid. No other werewolf flick did that to me. Never been afraid of vampires, on the contrary. Used to wish one would come and bite me and make me into one when I was younger LOL
The werewolf in the movie Van Helsing that came out in 2004, starring Hugh Jackman, was particularly ferocious and frightening.
“An American Werewolf In London” is a good choice! Back in the day, I saw it the opening weekend and thought it was DOPE as FUCK because it was as funny as it was scary. At the time, that was something new and different–in a good way!
