I cook but don’t watch cooking shows, though my former partner did relentlessly.
Discussion of gender roles in cooking was interesting, but I think it was overly dependent on modern western experience. Many gender roles change over time, something you discussed, so I think it is difficult to pin exactly which gender undertook which role at the dawn of time, so to speak.
That said, the first segment of the podcast provided a lot of food for thought or nutrition for cogitation.
How did I completely miss this podcast?!
